ELACHOWITZ  I submitted a bug report to Koingo this morning - I too have had the same results... This surprises me as I never have had problems with their software before. I have reverted back to 5.19 - (In this version, I can deal with the small "copying" bug which occurs when you click on the copy button in the menu bar, nothing goes to the clipboard - hey, its better then not crashing at all!

Quicken 2007		Feb 17 2006

ELACHOWITZ  I too have been a Quicken user for the longest time... I must say that if you are serious about your financial data - make the switch over to Liquid Ledger

The software does what it says without ANY hiccups (case in point: it imports financial institution transaction data without messing up the dates ->> my BIGGEST pet peeve using Quicken). As an accountant, this app may be more then what most users need, but nonetheless, the interface is clean and intuitive. I will NEVER go back.

ELACHOWITZ  It is true there are many other freeware apps on the market which can do what Mac Pilot does... I personally have been using Koingo products for sometime now and am still amazed at their stability / reliability (especially with new Mac OS updates)... Mac Pilot is noting less then a five star app - I say that if you can foot the small cost, give this little app a shot!

BRUCE_Y  There are some maintenance and settings utilities which are free (TinkerTool, Onyx, others), and some which charge a small shareware fee (TinkerTool System, Cocktail, Panther/Tiger Cache Cleaner, MacPilot, others).

Many have some overlap of features, but no one tool does every single thing (that I have found), so I use a combination of several ( and I have registered several).

(caveat: above is not a complete list - I did create a list of utils and features and posted it someplace a month or two ago ... now where did I do that ...)
