EDDYG2  We've got soft subs working using .srt files, however weren't sure how to package it, and had issues with the srt files just about always having the sub timestamps offset by quite a margin from the video.

Hopefully if we can figure that out it will be in a future release, you wouldn't want it as-is

EDDYG2  Where does it say that the icon for an app has to bear any relationship to the function of the application?

I personally quite like the cow with a tag on it. It adds originality and quirkiness to the app. Let's face it, you see the cow in your dock and you know that you are running MetaX :)

EDDYG2  This is unusual, I'm not sure what is wrong without troubleshooting your particular installation.

Could you join the HandBrake forums when they reopen after the download blitz and we'll try to assist you.

In particular you need to watch your encoding settings, some of which do cause crashes. Have you tried different combinations. Also you should really be using Mac The Ripper to rip the DVD to your hard drive before using HandBrake, HB is not always very successful with the ripping itself due to copy protection on the DVDs.
