ECLIPSE  What makes this GUI for ffmpeg better than the already since many years existing ffmpegX from major? ffmpegX is serving reliably since many years..

CHAS_M  I'm not the developer nor affiliated with him, but I think the answer to your question becomes obvious when you actually download and try out the thing.

ffmpegX is a great and powerful program, but its #1 problem is that its interface is about as un-Mac-like as you can get.

iVideo Converter is rather obviously trying to slap a better (still not great, but better) interface on the same core functionality.

ECLIPSE  In comparison to the classic icq and many other icq clients, Adium X is nice with one exeption: Filetransfers often don't work. It's 9 out of 10 times when Adium fails but other clients work.

ECLIPSE  Still many missing features..since it's not easily possible to block internet access easily in a networked home-directory enviroment for the lecturer, this functionality should be avaible in Remote Desktop.
