Microsoft Office 2008		Jun 26 2008

DUTCHBILLIE  I just worked out why my machine would not update. I had removed some of the Dock icons of Office2008. After complete re-install, keeping all the icons in the Dock, everyhting updated fine.

That was on the second try, The first try, I had removes some icons after the inital re-install. After that even de 12.1.0 SP1 could not be installed.

Just my two pennies.  
(Version 12.1.1)
