A word of warning before you buy, I own about 150 software licences and I guess this is a company with the worst support I have ever seen. They don't do anything with feedback, but they lie about and features, you can read it below or read it yourself over here : http://www.ragesw.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=872

Question How about adding Dutch and Belgian Search Engines ?

This is something we can certainly add.

If you can wait a few days I can get you a patch for these search engines. I hope to get it to you soon, things are just a little busy with the new release here today.

Glad to hear your like it.

Great, I fully understand how hectic it must be at the minute, but consider yourself a definite sale as soon as those two search engines are active :)

November 29th 2007

And another one for dutch/belgium engines, unfortunately I've already purchased SERank.

Yesterday I bought Advanced WebRanking, for all you dutchies out there, do the same.

I don't SERank is going anywhere ... what a waste.

November 29th 2007

We have already added new search engines for netherlands and belgium. We are just doing some testing but we hope to get a patch out later today for you guys.

I am sorry you feel SERank is a waste, but we are only at version 1.0. There are a lot more features we will be adding.

December 7th 2007

How can I become this patch? I'm curious...

December 10th 2007

Paul,

You wrote that the patch is ready... and I'm ready to try...

December 11th 2007

Sorry for the wait. We will be releasing a public update with additional search engines very shortly.

Stay tuned though for an announcement before the release of RAGE SERank 1.1. We have a new free tool that works great with RAGE SERank and will definitely be helpful.

It's good to see a non-Java native mac app for SEO. Downloaded the demo and it looked promising. Unfortunately you cannot add search engines yourself and that's a pity, because my market is in the Netherlands en Belgium.

One should be able to add more ..

I guess I was to quick buying SERank ....

The interface behaviour is fixed in version 7.04, the support department does actually listen and fix problems.

It is good software, I administer quite a lot of db's and found it a very usefull tool. It could indeed be a bit more stable. Further Navicat doesn't quite follow the UI rules we are used on a mac.

For example, if you want to quit the program and have more tabs open, Navicat will present you a dialog if you are sure to close multiple tabs and if you enter "yes" it will close tha tabs but doesn't quit, this is annoying ... (and simple to fix) I am happy with this tool on the mac, but it should follow mac interface behaviour.

What a waste !! I have the LogiTech MX Revolution, IMHO the best mouse ever. This software is so louzy...

After almost a year scrolling the mouse in Safari WORKS (yeah, they really fixed this one ...)and introduced something new. If I work in BBEdit on very long scripts and set the accelaration and scrolling to the max, the MX scrolls BACKWARDS !!!

Setting the accelaration to medium clears this, but "Who are those guys ...?"

You can get it to work over SSH, you might take a look at SSH helper or better AlmostVPN Pro.

Navicat has built-in SSH HTTP support, if you really do heavy duty MySQL coding this is the tool to get.

Costs you some though ...

Go to www.adobe.com to see the menu-items disappear behind the flashfile. So many bugreports, still not fixed. For a while Opera was my default browser, but the many Flash related issues force me to go back to FireFox, the best browser there is. I really like Opera but for me it looks like Opera has given up. Damn, it's a really fast browser

unstable ? I had two crashes within one hour.

The 1.5 series seldom crashed, I am considering to go back and wait for more stable releases..

Ever since I have updated to 8.5 I have to enter my FTP password over and over again

for :

1. connecting to the FTP server

2. saving each individual file back to the server.

This of course is a very bad thing ....

Has anyone else encountered this issue ?

AlmostVPN is a must have for anyone who wants to establish a secure connection.

Andrei's (developer) support is great and very helpfull.

It is also very handy for setting up a

SSH to a MySQL server with limited (only localhost) access.
