Been using this for quite awhile but this mornings update broke any downloading functionality.

I can download files normally but anything that goes through SD fails

the only thing that keeps me from running this is the extremely high CPU cycles that it takes while running.

on my intel mac running 10.5.2 it is anywhere from 45-72% even when itunes isnt running

unfortunately will have to send it to the trash, when this bug is fixed, i will give it a try again

my problem was that it had worked without a hitch for a year. until this last version, then it became unregistered and wasnt ever able to get it working again.

I wasnt going to buy it again just to fix this issue, since who really knows if it would. As i havent heard back from the dev, i ended up switching to vienna.

i love newsfire and have been using it for quite awhile now, but this new release (69) somehow trashed my registration and trying to re activate it refuses to go through

Just did a test as I was getting the same paypal link when i tried to download it, even though I was a registered user. It is a browser issue, safari took me right to the download page, while shiira kept taking me to paypal. If i hover the mouse over the button I can see that the link it going somewhere totally different. Shiira 1.2.2 have the issue, 2.0b1 works correctly.
