DAINTY77  I think theres a need for a gui rar archiver for the mac.

In my case I needed to transfer an iso disc image of 5 GB to a windows machine, using a portable drive formated in that format that doesn't allow files bigger than 4GB (I know!), so I wanted to split the file in smaller parts in a widely supported format, and everyone has winrar these days because of the popularity of split rar archived files.

So I would like the gui app to have the splitting ability, this one doesn't yet. And the non compression ability too, if you are splitting something that is already compressed like sound or video it doesn't make sense to waste time with further compression.

I ended up using a CLI tool, although I hate those.

rar a -m0 -v1000m

That is the command I used, it took me 15 minutes to find the right switches, searching for examples etcetera, CLI is so useless.

DAINTY77  Is there WebUI for the mac version?

I followed the instructions on http://www.utorrent.com/documentation/webui/

"Enable and configure the WebUI in µTorrent (Preferences -> Advanced -> WebUI"

There is no advanced section in the preferences!

GPGMail

DAINTY77  I like GPGMail a lot, really simple to use. I only use it for mailing my friend, its not supersecret stuff, just feels nice to have a bit of privacy. I use the 'passphrase' encryption, we decided on a word. I never bother with the signing or the public key thing. One thing I would like is if you could use the same phrase as key by default when mailing someone. Now I have to type in the phrase twice when sending. Maybe there is a way to set this up I just didn't find. I think it's very well integrated into Mail, my thanks to the developers.
