SpyMe
Nov 11 2009

COOLAPIC  JBH,

I firmly disagree when you say that -> "The comments about the lack of response from the developer is correct. I tried four times and got one response.

I contacted the developer twice and can only say that the answers (to my stupid question) came back super fast and helpful !

Last time he responded in less than 10 minutes !

Let me add that IMMO SpyMe is a must have for all those who want to remote control a Mac, the $15 are more than justified for such a stable, easy to use and reliable piece of software !

I use it on a dialy basis and can say it's way better/faster than any "standard VNC" !

Just "heard" some very good news about SpyMe but I'll let the developer announce it himself ;-)

***..

COOLAPIC  Nice and useful small app but has an important flaw as it does NOT support multiple monitors (extended desktop)!

Once created, the "mini docks" just refuse to be moved to another monitor, please implement/fix that and I'll purchase it right away.

Also, a list of existing "mini docks" in the menubar icon menu and the possibility to save said docks would be appreciated ;-)

SAMUCO  Hi, Im glad you like Dock Menus ;D

What do you mean by the multiple monitors issue? If you describe what you want for one who has never seen multiple monitors connected, we should be able to implement it if there is no other issues.

As for the menu bar, we will add it into version 5.0.

COOLAPIC  Same problem here (as ROBOTANK, the infinite load spinning weel). I'm on a MacPro octo 2.8 (early 08) under 10.5.8 (combo updated last week)

There is another thread (in French) here : http://forum.macbidouille.com/index.php?showtopic=307204&st=0&gopid=3056069&#entry3056069

Personal Antispam X5

**...

COOLAPIC  This product is far to expensive and brings almost nothing new to Mail...

Use the cheaper Purify in stead!

You will get rid of all your spam and also report abuse (spam) in one click, this feature brought down my spam level from over 70 a day to less than two a day...

It's unbelievable but true !

COOLAPIC  great but it doesn't do it for me...

I use two screens, if I use this I get a white (or else) bar on top of the second screen that has no menu bar...

Hope there is something coming that's able to make the menu bar really opaque.

hey Apple, what silly idea to make that bar transparent !

MDSW  I'd be interested to know what is causing this issue for you; it should only modify the main screen (actually, it _can_ only modify the main screen). I also have two screens and have tested everything including switching the menubar while the program is running. Apples' APIs make this an inexact science, so I'd be curious about your particular situation. Please e-mail me if you have more details.

JETFIREDX  When you set a desktop picture in Leopard and then plug in the second monitor it has a different image... thus the modified pic from the first display is left being shown without the menubar to cover it and the second monitor has the normal Leopard menubar. I think Tiger would move the main desktop image to the second monitor if you had to set to be the primary when plugged in.

And I agree with the previous poster... Apple this was a lame idea. Please put in an option to disable it.

Purify

*****

COOLAPIC  This SPAM filter and fighting back tool (abuse reporting) beats the competition hands down !

Purify will filter all your mail, catch almost 99.9% SPAM and send abuse reports in one click ! All this can be done within Mail.app (with some provided scripts) or in it's own interface.

It's really that easy !

Already incredibly efficient and still improving day after day thanks' to one of the most reactive developer I've ever met.

I use Purify since the beginning (was involved in beta testing) and previously used the same company's product called Em@ilCRX.

SKYCAT081  This might sound stupid but I need help with mail really bad. I am using Apple mail. I have my own server for my company and I have a Iphone. The apple mail gets 98% of all the spam mail but my phone gets all the mail. I receive and have received 80-100 e mails a day on my phone and about 10 are mine. Can someone please tell me how to set up this mail program so it either deletes it from my server first before sending or i was reading the reviews and it sounds like i can have the mail program get the mail filter it and then send it to my phone. Man i would be so grateful if someone could help me out here. I have been putting up with it for years. I'm ready to just stop getting mail on my phone.

Please your my only hope

Thanks

Bryce
