CONCEITED  Our company charges for major upgrades only and has never ever charged for minor upgrades. To clarify, the only upgrade that way ever paid was the major 1.x to 2.x upgrade (with a 50% discount for 1.x licensees, and a fully free 2.x upgrade for recent 1.x licensees). 2.0 was released more than two years after 1.0. All software companies have the exact same policy.

CONCEITED  Hey,

Deactivating a Mac is as easy as clicking the "Deactivate" button in the Registration window. If your Mac died on you before you had the chance to deactivate it then I agree it's a bit trickier - but if you simply email your serial number to support@conceited.net, your Mac will be deactivated in a timely manner.

Since Macs aren't supposed to just die on you regularly, I don't think not having a feature to deactivate dead motherboards is a major flaw in the software.

Regards,

Nicolas
