COLDFUSION1970  Has anyone used this yet?

Theres no information from the creator and no link to a website where i can confirm that it will do what it says on the tin.

I'm loath to run a un-verified Applescript 'application' on my computer without some assurances.

COLDFUSION1970  Errrr, i'm not the author of this software.

I was just trying to get across the point that the author would be unable to guarantee compatibility with a unreleased version of the Mac OS.

It might take Apple anything from a week to 6 months to release 10.5.3 in its final version. Then it should be tested against this software.

I have no problem with the author making a couple of bucks on affiliates links as this wonderful bit of software is free.

****.

COLDFUSION1970  Great add-on for Spaces.

This is one piece of functionality that Apple should have included in Spaces right from the off.

My only criticism is that its very easy to jump two or three Spaces when you're trying to move only one.

It would be nice if it only automatically moved you one Space and then you had "push" against the side of the screen again to move to another Space.

COLDFUSION1970  To be honest i think a six month cut-off is very generous.

Most companies will only give you a free upgrade from when the new version is officially announced until when it finally ships.

Apple arent giving people free upgrades to 10.5 to anyone buy 10.4 now.

I have already paid for my upgrade to version 6.

COLDFUSION1970  Definitely one of the best pieces of Mac software around. It should be a standard install on all Safari's.

I use it all day long in Safari at home and work and when i occasionally have to use Camino (which doesnt have that facility), it feels clunky.

COLDFUSION1970  Great application. It has everything that i want in a PDF viewer.

Its lightweight, universal binary and defaults to a large zoom size when you open documents (unlike Acrobat Reader and Preview).

The author has been quick to update the applications with user suggestions (the 'hand' tool i suggested was incorporated in the very next version).

Its now the default PDF viewer on my machine at home and at work.

Two thumbs up.

COLDFUSION1970  Great application. I've used it to replace Preview as the default PDF application on my Mac.

The only feature i miss is being able to use the cursor as a hand to move the page (rather than having to use the scrollbar the whole time). I just find it gives me more precise control over moving the page around.

Otherwise two thumbs up.

COLDFUSION1970  I purchased Amnesty Singles a couple of months ago and i think its a great product.

The only feature that i miss at the moment, is the ability to copy and paste text into the widgets.

I have a couple of widgets that it would be useful to paste text into, but i have to manually re-type the text. But when the widgets are run through the Dashboard its possible to paste the text into the widgets.

I have emailed the developers to see if they plan to add this feature.

COLDFUSION1970  Thanks for the response.

I will clarify my other points as the MU comment box seems to have scrambled it a little.

1) It would be nice to be able to close a comic in fullscreen mode by doing COMMAND+W or clicking the red gadget in the top left hand corner of the window.

2) At the moment you have to press COMMAND+ARROW to change page. Just pressing ARROW by itself would be nicer.

Just suggestions.

COLDFUSION1970  Great application, it works very nicely. But there are some suggestions that i would like to make.

1) It would be nice if you could click to change to the next page (especially in fullscreen mode).

2) Also it would be nice to be able to close a comic in fullscreen mode by doing +. At the moment it looks like you have to leave fullscreen mode and then find the "Page List" window to clear the comic.

3) It would be great if you could zoom in/out while in fullscreen mode.

4) Why does it beep if i press the up or down keys on the numeric keypad to scroll up or down the comic page?

5) At the moment you have to press + to change page. Just the would be nicer.

Feel free to ignore my suggestions as they may just be my personal preference rather than really practical for the vast majority.

GHERITT  Thanks for the comment.

In order.

1) I will have to mull this one over for a bit.

2) Hitting cmd-opt-del clears the page list.

In the 0.7.1 update this also toggles off the fullscreen display.

3) I have been thinking about this one as well maybe in 0.8

4) Appologies about that,  fixed in 0.7.1

5) Sorry you will have to clarify this point as your comment seems to be garbled.

The auto updater may have already caught this, but the 0.7.1 update became available as of this morning.
