CDOCH I was having the same problem with iMac G5s running 10.4.5 and MouseWorks 2.9 or Mouseworks X 3.0b2. Here's what I got from Kensington Tech Support (I haven't had time to try it yet): Thank you for contacting Kensington Technical Support To resolve the issue, please follow the steps given below: The path for deleting the preferences file is HD >> Users >> select your username >> Home >> Library >> Preferences >> Now delete com.kensington.mouseworks.plylist. 1) Double click ‘HD’ and type “Kensington” in the search option available at the top right corner of the pane. 2) Drag all the files into Trash and empty trash (one or two files may be left over, do not worry.), close HD pane. 3) HD>applications>utilities>disk utility>first aid> choose YOUR HD to the left of the pane and click “repair disk permissions”. 4) Then restart system after completing above process, restart and download a fresh copy of MouseWorks 2.9 from the website given below: http://us.kensington.com/html/1385.html#mac28 5) Install the software and restart your computer when prompted for. This should resolve the issue. (Version 3.0b2) |
