DAAGAAK  I'm sorry, /lastlog is a feature of the curses text frontend of Irssi which is not compiled into Irssi when it is compiled for inclusion in MacIrssi. (MacIrssi counts as a completely separate frontend). Adding a MacIrssi implementation isn't planned at the moment, if you file it in trac as a ticket I can try and plan it for future work

DAAGAAK  Sorry, this was not the problem. I can compile the fe-text front end no problem, however the MacIrssi GUI counts as a completely separate frontend (fe-aqua) and therefore fe-text is never compiled in alongside fe-text. This is why there is no /lastlog at the moment because the command itself is part of fe-text, not the Irssi core.

CBX322  Sure, but I have been waiting for yrs to get multilingual support, opened bugreports, talked to devs. And now it is time to make my opinion public. How nice would that be, a single version which contains all languages? One install and everyone could switch their useraccount to their spoken language and Firefox will automatically show up in the chosen language.

CBX322  ST00P!D M0NK3Y:

Don't be personal!

It is my personal rating I have my reasons for.

Firefox is unusable in our computer network since we run educational language services offered to students speaking different languages. It is impossible to install Firefox for all languages in our computer network, at least I did not find a solution. Btw, this rules against Apple's programming guide lines. Unfortunately, I have been waiting since version 1 for a fully localized version and 3.5 still comes as "one app one language" which makes me to give the worst rating possible.

CHRISWAN  Well, I believe most people will only use one language; So I think it's more practical to have one app one language implementation, They can save a lot of bandwidth accumulatively (it's free and it's downloaded by millions of people, every byte saving counts); Localizations can makes an app unnecessarily large

Also you must trust the developer not to phish your passwords, since the source is not opensource, but that would just add another trustworthy company to the list of Apple Computer Inc...

CBX322  The installer is dumb. You can only install as administrator. You can choose an install-location in the installer, but it does not let you choose your homefolder, i.e. ~/Applications. This is not the way of Apple-Guide-Lines. There is no reason why a local user shouldn't be able to install this app into their homefolder only.

****.

CBX322  This app comes with newest wget 1.10.2 works fine except one thing:

Preferences -> Options -> only a single option is recognized, i.e. if you add:

--no-check-certificate --no-dns-cache

in that field, the app gives an error: '--no-check-certificate --no-dns-cache' option unrecognized. This might be a problem with a variable, interpreting the string only as one option.

This app needs an update.

PETER BORG  The reason that it asks you to authenticate as an admin even when you are not editing, is because that is the only way to find out if a launchd is loaded or not. If you don't want to authenticate you can just press Escape or choose Cancel in the authentication dialogue and then it will display a question mark instead of a loaded or unloaded icon.

CBX322  This is the best VoIP-SIP client:

pro:

• very good sound-quality

• super easy to use

• no bloated software

con:

• the main-window is not resizeable

• the textbox in main-window for selecting numbers is too small

I would give it a 5-star ranking, if the main-window would resizeable / larger.
