CBA  Since I upgraded to Leopard iBank has crashed alot. And I mean several times for each session using it. It is almost unusable for me right now. I liked it very much when it was stable (when I was using Tiger). Random crashes with no apparent cause is very frustrating, especially when this is software I have paid for.

Also, I found a bug when using forecasts. A forecast will not include split transactions, which is very very bad. I tried to check when a loan of mine is payed off, but it was impossible due to this bug. I have both the interest and the payment in the same transaction, but only the payment reduces the depth.

I've tried creating a new iBank document, but this behaviour still shows up.

****.

CBA  I've been using iBank on and off for the last year and it has become very stable over that time period. I've tried other apps (but since I bought this one last year I've always stuck with it). At first I just tried to keep track of my money, but after a while I started playing with it and found a lot of good features. It's not the easiest app to start with, but when I got the hang of it I found it to be very good.

(It would be nice though to have the ability to add a quick transaction through dashboard, but that's not really needed.)

CBA  A little update, it seems that I no longer can open the Visual hub encoded mp4-files. Don't know what happened.. I hope this can be resolved!

CBA  I tested this app and I really saw a potential in it. I've been searching for something like this for a while now and couldn't wait to test it.

Though the first I noticed was that I couldn't add chapters to movies I encoded with Quicktime Pro (High resolution h.264 for iPod/iTunes, .m4v) which is the main goal for me. It did support files encoded with Virtual hub which plays fine on the iPod, the only difference is that the Virtual hub file makes mp4-files instead of m4v. If support for these files are added I will buy this program!

Also, I think I found a little bug. When I add a chapter to a movie, it doesn't show up in the column to the right. At first I thought that I did something wrong and added another chapter (a few seconds later than the first). Then, when I saved the chapters and opened the movie in Quicktime there was in fact two chapters there. This will certainly be fixed in the near future.

To sum up, I really like the app and will buy it if Quicktime encoded h.264 will be supported.

JS8DEV  Regular QuickTime H.264 encoded files are supported, but not if they are for m4v files, i.e. for the iPod. This is not a restriction that MovieChapterizer requires but because m4v files with chapter data aren't allowed by iTunes. If iTunes changes to allow such files through to the iPod then MovieChapterizer will allow them to be created.

STARF  I too downloaded moviechapterizer 2.5 hoping to be able to add chapters to mp4 files created in visualhub. I have been able to create mp4 files with chapters using handbrake if the source is from a dvd, and I am able to use these files with chapters in my ipod.

MovieChapterizer 2.5 on Leopard won't let me import any file with .mp4 or .m4v extentions.
