Type: TroubleshootingDate: 11 Jul 2008 23:52Btw, QT gets crazy when trying to resize it. But again, I only use QT in full screen, so no big deal, just testing the app, which is still great :)

Type: CommentsDate: 11 Jul 2008 23:47Wow, very nice app! Would be perfect with a "maximize" shortcut.
Anyway, Im putting it on my login items right away :D
good work

Type: CommentsDate: 7 Jul 2008 17:50A really good improvement would be cam support, then Adium would be perfect :D

Type: TroubleshootingDate: 10 Nov 2007 19:18Very good app. Loved it.
I just noticed a bug, window always on top no matter how many times I turn this function off.

Type: CommentsDate: 10 Nov 2007 18:32Beautiful! I loved it. Exactly what I was looking for. Looks cool, also. Maybe a scroll bar (like the guy before me said) would make it even better.
Thanx

Type: CommentsDate: 1 Nov 2007 20:47Cool look. I preffer the 2D version. The goofy sounds are annoying, though, but you can change (or mute) them). Cool app.

Type: CommentsDate: 18 Oct 2007 21:18I hated it. Instead of searching in the background and displaying its own results, it opened about 10 different safari tabs with lots of search engines. I can do that myself! Reminded me the old windows days with pop-ups flooding up your screen...

Type: ReviewDate: 11 Oct 2007 15:33I love PausenClown.
Its small, its fast, its light weight, its simple, has a cool look, everything you would expect from a mac software.
It is very good to make small notes. I use it to save some info that I dont know where to save, like things I want to buy, to do, to search on the web, ideias, funny things, etc.
I miss a [command + ,] preferences, maybe a opacity control (although I like the default very much). But again, I love its simplicity too.
For the developer, a few problems to check. Instability. It crashed a couple of times, specially when openinng it. The search (why not [command F]?) cant find properly and leaves the page blank unless you click on the x inside the search box. Save, or auto-save, only works if you move along the left items bar. I mean, if you create a group called songs, inside it you put "song a" and quit the program, it wont save the text "song a". Maybe a [do you want to save] box before quiting would solve the problem.
Hope I could help :D
Bye

Type: TroubleshootingDate: 8 Oct 2007 00:10Oh, I forgot to say that, although being the best quality subtitles I've seen so far, I dont know why but they seem to be in a strange format. I tried to resize and etc but most of the times dialogue lines would not display one above the other but beside the other, which didnt occured in VLC and QT.

Type: CommentsDate: 7 Oct 2007 23:55I like VLC, but not its interface. Chroma has a cool look, very much like other mac apps. i liked the command t function for stabilize, dont know if it really works though since I'm always on a stable surface. The subtitles are really beautiful.
I just wish it was more customizable and had more commands like VLC. I had problems using DVD, it kept asking me to change my DVD region when it was playing normally with DVD Player...

Type: CommentsDate: 6 Oct 2007 13:25Same here. I think I'm gonna stick with the widget called capture till things get normal.
Good luck.
here is the link for capture:

Type: CommentsDate: 5 Oct 2007 17:27yeah, maybe. I just tried it right now. Alt Cmmd 0 and the script icon on menu bar blinks but I can see any picture nowhere... At least not on my desktop or in the script folder... Am I doing something wrong? I dont believe I have this hot key set to anything else...

Type: CommentsDate: 3 Oct 2007 00:01I think the lyrics problem is solved. I've just tested it with a song, changed the songs lyrics, went back to the widget and the changes were there, wchich I presume means that it recognizes the file lyrics...

Type: ReviewDate: 2 Oct 2007 12:04Very good for listening without having to open iTunes and adding the song to your playlist. I just wish it had a "preferences" so that you could choose to let it opened all time or turn off the "be on top".
Great app ;)

Type: TroubleshootingDate: 1 Oct 2007 20:06Roger! I'll try it some more times and report any problem that may come to arise ;) The only problem is that I hate YouTube and dont use it too much lol, but I'll do my best, it is much more funnier now with this widget.
By the way, I tried the "donwload to itunes" feature and it seems to be working ok! I mean, I clicked "later" on donnation, got some failure notification from Finder (?!) then, after a few minutes (I had completely forgot the download by the time) I heard a chime, checked on my stuff to see what it was and found out it was a nem movie on my iTunes libray.
That's it :D Good luck

Type: ReviewDate: 1 Oct 2007 19:44Great ideia. I dont know why YouTube is so popular, the site is terribly ugly just like the video quality of its movies. I hate using it. But this little widget gave an elegant look to YouTube and I loved it :D
The are some minor bugs though. After going fullscreen I couldnt go back to normal mode with the same shortcut. Eventually it can back to normal, but the widget moved to another part of my screen and the "video scrolling" kind of got connected to my mouse, follwing whereve it went and making it impossible to watch the movie. I serached for another movie and it worked fine (although the scroll didnt come back to normal)
Great widget, anyway.

Type: ReviewDate: 1 Oct 2007 02:22Amazing!
The idea is very good indeed! I tried it with some news (some of the millions of RSS feeds I never read) in different languages and it really speeds up your reading. I just tried a few texts and already passed the 400 wpm line :D
My only suggestion would be to set the left and right keyboard keys to go from one word to another, in case you lose a word and decide to pause and go back to check it, that would speed up the process even more.
Fantastic app, great job.

Type: ReviewDate: 1 Oct 2007 00:25I forgot to mention the customization is also great. I dont particularly like this duck icon, so I use one of the many online alternatives available at the app site. I would also like to costumize my emoticons, so far I couldnt manage to do this.
Anyway, once again, good job guys, I love adium! :D

Type: CommentsDate: 1 Oct 2007 00:21I love Adium, have been using it since I got my mac. It is very clean, lightweight and intuitive. The only problem is the need to move to another app in case you decide using a webcam, but I dont use it that much, so its working very well for me. Thanx for the great app!

Type: TroubleshootingDate: 27 Sep 2007 00:16I think there is something wrong, maybe a bug, it's not working for me :(
When I press "alt 0" the script icon blinks but nothing happens. I manage to make it work by clicking on "script folder" openning the script with the mouse and the taking the snapshot. But I think that's not the way it is supposed to work, right? But so far it looks like a promising app :)

Type: ReviewDate: 25 Sep 2007 10:12I thought it was something like a QuickSilver for music, like pressing a hot key, typing a few letters and getting the song. Well, maybe I got it wrong, but for what I can see it is not much different then opening iTunes and clicking the green button to get its mini version. Of course there is the search option in MiTunes, but I also preffer maximizing iTunes and using its search since I dont need to specify "artist" or "title" there, I just type what comes to mind first and get what I want.

Type: CommentsDate: 24 Sep 2007 22:17Sorry, I didnt know that. I tried to fix it but I guess there is no way to change it now. If you know how just let me know and I can change the valeu score.
![]()
Type: CommentsDate: 24 Sep 2007 17:48Oh, sorry, didnt mean to offend or anything. I wasnt going to give a score to value in the first place (its a free app), but the site does not allow me to do a half evaluation. So I gave 1 thinking that, if it wasnt a free app, I wouldnt get it, since I can have the same features for free on iTunes.
Sorry...

Type: ReviewDate: 12 Sep 2007 00:59Cool ideia, and the description is even better. It would be really cool if the keyboard keys had sepparate lights, so the effect would be better. Unfortunatelly, the way it is it looks more like a keyboard bug. :/

Type: ReviewDate: 6 Sep 2007 16:29I didnt try it for that long, but so far it is very good. I just loved the fact it automatically detects the keyboard layout. The app icon is cute and the general design of it is clean and beautiful. I just dont like that opening yellow elipse with the buttons "register" and "try", reminds me of windows apps, but I think that is supposed to annoy and will be gone at the final version.
