Silk	Feb 27 2008	CABRON Simply as already said: my menu bar becomes transparent now on unsupported hardware without any performance issues. This accidentally ultra feature could be part of an extra haxie. And about the custom font themes I'll wait too for a better usage of this one for the next versions. (Version 2.1.4b1)		0

ARTROOM You're not the only one with serious crashing issues.

I have been using Adium for years without any real problem, up to and including version 1.1.4

Any attempt to use a version newer than that causes an almost instant crash on startup. I have tried most versions of 1.2.x all with the same results. Simply going back and replacing with 1.1.4 gets me up and running again perfectly.

I have tried trashing prefs but with no luck. And if it is a corrupt preference as everyone says, i'm unsure as to why the corruption affects version 1.2.x but 1.1.4 is immune to the corruption.

My advice to anyone experiencing the same problem, try going back to an older version like i did.
