CABERLIN The are experiencing update problems (system breakdown) due to the demand, they say. Here is the workaround that they recommend to use until they repair their store: http://blogs.vmware.com/teamfusion/ (Version 3.0)

CABERLIN This new update is love at first sight! - Very cool and smooth effects, very natural sound. I own a couple of software of this kind like DiscoXT Pro (buggy inteface) and MegaSeg (buggy iTunes tags sync) and Traktor (too complicated, if you don't spend all day with it). I use it for private parties, so I need something easy to handle, something reliable and something affordable. And it should be fun to use and not rocket science. I am totally happy with this software now. (Version 3.0)

CABERLIN Update to my previous review (MacUpdate does not allow me to edit my previous writings): 1. FTP settings ARE remembered now for a website as stated. It was just not solved the way I expected it; so I did not discover it until now. 2. Developer says that Website Listing (the Menu) will be revised in a future update. Let's hope that this day will be soon.. Since I need to give a new rating, I update my rating to a 4. (Version 2.1)

CABERLIN Dear developer, thanks for commenting. You are certainly correct about the URLs. I am aware of that. I would be perfectly fine if the "REAL" url would be stored somewhere". But I don't think that it is wise to use the "REAL" url also as menu for the mentioned accessibility reasons. - I try to contact you now via your support system directly. (Version 2.1)

CABERLIN If you hab to maitain only a very few websites, the software works allright and would be 5 stars normally). But if you have 50+ Websites to maintain, to give an example, the software makes live complicated. A. It is not possible to edit the entries in the "Websites" menu, so this can be a wild mix of "http://www.domain.com", "www.domain.com", "domain.com". That confuses the sorting and makes finding a domain difficult. Why not making an editable field so that one can streamline those entries later on wighout having to delete a site and start all over again. B. The FTP-Info is not linked to the domain. So after you successfully found and updated the sitemap for a domain you have to search an independet FTP-list that contains EVERY entry ever stored to find the right FTP-account for the domain in question. 2 Stars for not keeping the promise to fix that. PAUL RAGESW A. If you have scanned your website you cannot change the URL. The reason is because a domain with www. and without www. is considered to be two different domains by the Sitemap protocol. You shouldn't be able to change domains once they are scanned, there would be no use for that. If you haven't scanned a URL yet, you can edit it. B. This feature has been available since version 2.0 released in January. (Version 2.1)

GigaSync | Jul 31 2009 |
CABERLIN In my eyes this is more a proof of concept than a real software. Cryptic errors, no real help, no good documentation... Only basic syncing and worst of all: it only handles basic Letters. German umlauts are completely ignored in my tests (names containing umlauts become crippeled). The programmer was responding my mails but left me with the impression that he would not put much efforts in fixing bugs. In the meantime Siemens released QuickSync for Mac on their Gigaset homepage. That brand new software syncs much more reliable and also handles ringtones, pictures, etc. and worked very smoothly. - Best of all: QuickSync is free!!!! (Version 0.8.2.16)

GrandTotal | Mar 31 2009 |
CABERLIN For Design-companies it is essential that also invoices appear as much styled as possible. (We cannot afford to advise out clients about stationary and our own invoices do not follow those rules.) GrandTotal makes it extremely easy to layout cool and functional invoices with all the bells and whistles. That was our main reason why we switched from other software to this tool. And we are very happy with it, especially in combination with the TimeLog logging tool. Works flawlessly so far. (Version 1.2.2)

CABERLIN Oh please, can those earplugs-icons (with the size of shower-heads) which overlay even screen space not belonging to the software and have no use be removed? I can't understand why the slick interface from the previous version was replaced with that! I need that screen space for better things... (Version 3.0.1)

CABERLIN What you are actually doing here is to comparing this with a GUN. You just proved me right, thanks. hehe *g* But this is wrong thinking: This is not a weapon. This is a toy with maybe hazardous side effects that playful users might not consider when trying it out. (Version 1.1.1)

CABERLIN Those apps are NOT "harmless" as the author thinks. If a user who does not know that this toy is interfering (collegue, family) resets the computer, and looses valuable unsaved work, that's no fun. (Version 1.1.1)

DOUG S. The only actual damage that could be done by this program is if someone had a heart condition and thought it was real. That could be a problem... Otherwise, side from shortening your life by a few minutes, it's harmless. (Version 1.1.1)

CABERLIN I prefer frequent updates. Better than waiting ages to get bugs out. - If each update would not destroy the previous preferences and would maybe run in the background, it would be perfect imho. I must say I like this app a lot. (Version 4.2)

CABERLIN (Comment on my previous Review for 4.0.1.) Dropouts are gone(!) on my Mac with the new 4.0.2. (If you still have dropouts, try how it is with "keep drives spinning" OFF in the prefs.) Also the developer is now very responsive to reports and questions. Since this were the only main points annoying me with the app, and they are gone, I can now update my personal rating to a full 5 stars. I start really loving this toy. (Version 4.0.2)

nice and clean interface. great for a half-automatic party with the ability to drop in special songs from a wishlist at a given order or given time!! (think of a midnight special at a birthday party)... much superior to iTunes in that respect. still Dropouts on my MacBookPro at many songs and/or certain button clicks does not sync nicely yet with iTunes (tons of errors with importing tags and stuff) search features could be much improved. If the few bugs are removed it will be my favourite toy for private party dj-ing... You should also check out Disco XT, that one goes the same direction with it's automatic playlist... At the moment I prefer the UI of Megaseg but Disco XT has no dropouts and that counts. (Version 4.0.1)

CABERLIN This app is getting better and better: quite stable, and I did not have ANY dropouts of sounds with the latest versions. (Something I cannot say about MegaSeg). It integrates with iTunes better than MegaSeg and Traktor, in my oppinion. Since I put so much efforts in Itunes already to sort and combine my various songs and playlist, I am glad to be able to use that results and do not have to go over every single song in the library again. This might be just the right toy for bedroom- and hobbyist-djs, like me, who get a good value for the price. But maybe one day this is also interesting for pros, since the developement goes on so quickly. Opposite to MegaSeg and Traktor, I found the developer of DiscoXT to be very responsive, quick with bug fixes and open to suggestions. (Version 2.0.1)
