BUCHO  Ceased development? Far from it:

http://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/MacOSX/2.4.0RC2/

I wouldn't recommend using these in a production environment as they're not final, but it certainly appears as though they are continuing development.

If you're looking for an aqua build, just make sure you grab a file without X11 in the title.

BUCHO  Link seems to be broken. Checking out the directory contents after following the 'more information' link yields a file named cw10.zip.old. Is this safe to use, or is there a correct download listed somewhere else?

BUCHO  Anyone else having trouble with this under Leopard? Since I've upgraded, I am unable to change cities (always get 'no locations found'). Erasing the plist file didn't help.

BUCHO  Perian 1.0 has been released 6 months early. LOL - joke's on me.

BUCHO  No chance of adding subtitle support (to this or the mpv4decoder) is there? Perian is delaying their release until December, so other options would be nice...

In any case, great work (encoders too)!

BitSticks

BUCHO  I'd love to know what features BitSticks has, or being planned. I realize this is a very low resource client, and so I don't expect much, it'd still be nice to know.

FFusion Intel
Dec 26 2006

BUCHO  If I understand that previous comment to be correct, FFusion 3.1b doesn't play nice with AVI's containing MP3 audio? I guess I'll have to stick with Perian for now (which is based on FFusion if I'm not mistaken). It's been able to play anything I throw at it.

Still, it's nice to see some more development on the Quicktime decoder front.

BUCHO  Does this support encrypted traffic? I'd love to dump Azureus (resource hog), but my ISP throttles bittorrent traffic.

BUCHO  Any chance this will become a Universal Binary? Anyone else care to 'hack the code' to make it so?

BUCHO  Wooo hoo!

Nice to have an actively developed Xvid, Divx, etc... all-in-one solution that just works (so far ;-).

BUCHO  I've been away from Mac OS X for awhile, but I've finally ditched my PC for a new iMac. I must say, in all that time, one of the apps I missed terribly was ffmpegX. There is simply no tool for the PC that comes close.
