BROZ This is a nice tool, but there's a bug in this and the previous version that keep me from upgrading. The "Commit" button (looks like an arrow pointing to the right with a bar in front) that appears in the window header is always disabled. Since it's pretty important to be able to do the the things that button enables, this bug is a deal killer. Once again, I'll revert back to 0.6.1 and do my work. (Version 0.6.3)

BROZ Yeah, it's great. It's the best of the clipboard tools, in my opinion. (Version 2.0.4)

BROZ This might be the best clipboard utility, but a problem I discovered recently makes me think about switching back to PTHPasteboard. I use Eclipse to develop software. CopyPaste Pro 1.05, 1.06 hose up the contextual menus in Eclipse. The contextual menus in Eclipse are used all the time, everywhere. If you have to fish around for the same command in the menu bar menus, it wastes time. Eclipse does not work like ordinary Mac applications. It runs under Java and thus does its menus differently. That's fine, I expect some conflicts now and then. What's bad about CopyPaste pro in this case is that there's no way to disable it. Quitting CopyPaste Pro does not solve the issues. The only way to solve the problems in Eclipse is to uninstall CopyPaste Pro. That's not a very appealing solution. Yes, I contacted the developer, and I've not received a response. I expect he'll get to it sometime. An elegant solution might be pretty difficult to achieve. (Version 1.0.6)

BROZ This thing has potential. It's clean, logical, and will help me get a handle on all the stuff I've got on my computer. That said, it's buggy. I have crashed the app twice in the first ten minutes of use. Last crash happened when I was entering a search term when creating a new saved search. Considering the app's heritage, I believe the developers will get this thing straightened out soon. Hope so. Until then, I'll hang onto my $20. (Version 2.0)

BROZ This little utility does a fine job, but is somewhat limited for my uses. I do a lot of things that don't require a web browser, but do require a password. Applications like Quicken, Word when opening password protected docs, Excel, Adobe Reader, FTP applcations, etc. Most importantly, I use a terminal application all the time, and shelling into hosts require a password. I can't fault 1passwd for not doing something that it was not intended, but other apps out there can handle all the above. Password Wallet, for one, can deal with any application. Granted, Password Wallet is not nearly as convenient with a web site, and it doesn't fill out forms. It does store user ids and passwords for all my applications, and is useful everywhere. I can keep serial numbers, and notes too. 1Passwd is priced too high for it's limited scope. If 1passwd could be that one password utility, I'd pay. (Version 2.0.3566)

DTEARE In the current version (2.0) 1Passwd provides the ability to store generic Secure Notes. These notes can be for serial numbers, SSH passwords, etc. (Version 2.0.3566)

MUDFLAPPER I still have to agree with Broz. The generic secure notes thing just doesn't cut it for me. If there were actual fields (credit card number, exp date, software title, serial number, etc.) and different types of dedicated secure notes for different types of data, THEN I would purchase this immediately. I'm looking for 1 solution for all of my password needs, but it looks like I'll still be using Keychain and Steel. Still, nice job. GUI especially. (Version 2.0.3594)

DTEARE Thanks for the feedback! We actually have plans to extend the secure notes feature to have groups and templates. I think this will cover what you need, but please continue to let us know how to improve. Co-author of 1Passwd (Version 2.0.3594)
