BOZOCLOWN  I've been looking for something easier to use than Ethereal when debugging HTTP server requests and HTTP Scoop seems to fit the bill. It works right out of the box (for example, it correctly chose the en1 interface on my Airport connected laptop rather than making me figure that out) and it automatically captures and decodes HTTP traffic as advertised. It shows as much detail about each request as anyone could wish for from the complete headers down to the TCP/IP protocol exchange. There are some user interface oddities but polish is a lot easier to add than basic functionality which the app already has.

BOZOCLOWN  MediaCentral is a great app for building a Mac based media center. It can update itself with new media plugins as they become available (or as you need them) which makes the initial download refreshingly small. It can download movie trailers (like Front Row) and much more. Shared iTunes music libraries are supported. Highly recommended!

BOZOCLOWN  You have to "Save" the information to iTunes using either the menu item or the toolbar button (which I found unobvious until I stopped to wonder what the "Save" command was on the File menu was for :-)

An option to do this automatically would be nice.

BOZOCLOWN  A very capable application that backs up a computer to multiple DVDs (or other media) with the minimum of fuss. Like all the best Mac software you can successfully use it first time and wait until later to learn about tweaking for special cases.

BOZOCLOWN  A neat little application that does what it promises, providing just the right tradeoff between functionality and simplicity. It sure beats figuring out enough Excel to do the same thing!
