I'm not able to watch BBC News with this release - SOCKS errors. The previous version works fine though. |

It's a beautiful design with excellent GUI. The logging feature doesn't run nicely though and can interfere with normal operation of my computer. Strange thing is, even with logging disabled, whenever CleanApp has been opened, All Messages in Console becomes blank - i have to restart to get it running again. |

Leopard 10.5.2 does anyone find ClamXavSentry crashes a lot? I find myself checking console to make sure it's running, invariably I see this: 05/04/2008 08:30:56 ClamXavSentry[165] clamd not running. Now trying to launch it...

New Movie Recording from Quicktime using iSight on a brand new MacPro failed after installing Audio Hijack. I had to remove the instant hi-jack plug-in and reinstall Quicktime to get it working again. OSX 10.5.2 |

It would be nice if Elgato's website actually worked. When I try to purchase the upgrade, i'm forced to register (again, it doesn't recognise my old login) then complains about an order error because it tries to proceed without asking for any credit card info. Ok this aside, I fail to see what makes this software a big figure version hike (other than to extract more cash). Given Elgato's European roots it still supports only the US preferred MPEG-2 HD which in Europe is considered the poor relation to MPEG-4 HD as employed for example by the BBC HD. Over 1 year ago Elgato promised MPEG-4 HD support was a priority. It didn't happen. At last a radio application that doesn't depend on trawling through long lists of irrelevant names. Click on World, choose a city and select your station. Brilliant. The interface feels very Mac like, i'm not sure what the post below is suggesting. London, Paris, Athens...so much to explore! |

Cinematize Pro converts non protected DVDs to movie files. Encoding is realised through its own engine so it doesn't suffer the same synchronisation bugs currently present in the Quicktime engine. iPod m4v results surpass Quicktime itself. |

Scenery is still boring, crashes as regularly as previous versions even on a G5 Quad. I still can't see a reason to want to buy it unless as people say all you want to do is twiddle the knobs for realistic flight simulation. If refunds were an option I'd take it. |

eyeTV 2.3 finished off running iChat video on the same machine. It's fantastic software but firewire devices seem to become more and more troublesome as Apple moves closer to the USB world of Intel. |

I've used iClip for about 2 weeks now and am quite comfortable with it popping up from the side of my Desktop. Clipboard management made easier. Thanks |

Lovely. As a menubar item I can mount not only iDisk but regular FTP accounts as a bubble on the Desktop. Having the list of accounts sorted alphabetically would be complete for me. Thanks. |

Is it just me or is snapz pro no longer able to screen capture movies? I have sound, one frame of movie then a white screen. G5 Quad 10.4.6 |
