I use both VMWare Fusion (Work) and Parallels (Home). I like them both and I think both are about neck and neck. There are stability problems with both nothing major but they will both crash from time to time and when I say crash I mean the entire program just quits. I notice it less and less as each version is released. Would I recommend one over the other not really it's a matter of personal preference. I will say one thing... I have had one of my VM Image get corrupt on VM Ware Fusion... I think it was a fluke.

I just came back to this software because I needed to do some database work and was shocked to see the price is no $399 thats pretty insane considering all the other options out there including the slew of free tools.

I have yet to try this release but I paid for the previous... What can I say it's buggy and slow. I use it on my mac book with 2 gigs of ram... if I don't shut down parallels when a VM is loaded when I put my mac book to sleep it beach balls my entire machine to the point where I just power on/off my mac book. You can forget about the Pause/Stop option in parallels on my mac book it takes like 10 minutes to restore if your pause or stop the OS. I also have a mac pro with 4gigs of ram and it works OK on that but this thing shouldn't require so much horse power. I have a co-worker using VMWare's fusion and he says it's much better I'm sticking with parallels for now but fail me again and you can forget it.

This is a great piece of software works as advertied and it's free. I wouldn't mind paying the author for this software if he ever decides to charge.

I was about to buy this thing... than I saw the "rent" our software model and I thought that was insane. Or pay 65 bucks??? This thing is hardly worth $65 I'll wait for someone else to fill the gap.

I think the offer for offering a quick and easy uninstall button after the demo expires.

WHY is there still no video or voice chat??? SKYPE is light years ahead of MSN it has VOICE, VIDEO, and TEXT chat. This client has been around for years seriously Microsoft DEV's or Product managers what is the hold up please respond. This is why Microsoft gets left in the dust by companies like Google. The only thing keeping me on MSN is the fact that my friends use it but I've slowly started to get them on SKYPE.

I've been having nothing but trouble with this beta release so much so that I down graded to the last official release. On my Mac Pro 3036 locks up my entire machine, this issue has been reported on the support forums. There is a work around if you set memory in preferences to manually assign instead of automatically. I've tried this it works sometimes but not all of the time. I'm going to wait for the official release.

This program works great! what can I say it does what it says! My only request is that if someone double clicks one of the computer profiles in the list it should bring up the ip info of that computer instead of having to click "info". It would also be nice if future versions allowed you to save groups of computers kind of like addresses groups in apple address book.

I paid for version 4 which I found to be sub par at best. Version 5 is a huge improvment over version 4. It syncs directly with address book, ical, itunes, and iphoto. So yes it does work and I would say does most if not all the developer(s) claim. With all software there are bugs and if you subscribe to the mailing list for missing sync WHICH I would recommend anyone who purchases this product do because the developers are very active and open and they respond very quickly to suggestions and bug reports. I strongly recommend you backup all data if you try any of the beta versions and when upgrading version of missing sync.
