what was the version prior to 2.0? that's what i was using without hitch for ages. would it be possible/advisable to revert back to this?

this bast*rd thing canned my 500gig drive. i see both 250's in there in disk utility but it's not showing up as one drive as it should so i've lost about half my data uless i can get it back to a raid 0 again. also had lots of problems with power supplies, i'm done with lacie now, no more.
