BILLKLEE  But it doesn't save window states between sessions, so it's less useful than FireFox or Opera.

BILLKLEE  I believe MOL is incompatible with 10.4.

BILLKLEE  Great piece of hardware, mediocre piece of software, at best.

Instead, if you've got a PowerMate, I suggest using ControllerMate to run it.

On the plus side, you can set key-modifiers (shift-right, option-left, command-click-right, etc) and it doesn't have the "I'll work when I feel like it" functionality of the PowerMate driver.

On the down side, I haven't been able to get it to scroll, and the developer tells me CM doesn't support that very well at this time.

BILLKLEE  The demos on their demo page do nothing, and make no sound whatsoever. I'm unimpressed.

MAKAI  Initially, the text labelling on the demo interface did confuse me as well. Basically,

- you enter some sample text

- then you click the "Say it" button which processed the entered text to audio

- afterwards you'll find the common QT player controls right under the text input frame. *There*, click the Play triangle to hear your text spoken.

BILLKLEE  Slow? What are you running it on? I've got it on a 500 MHz Pismo and its quite a bit faster than v3.x was.
