I have used versions prior to the 0.5 release and had a dismal outcome. I installed the program not long after I bought my first mac and was flummoxed as to why my LAN speeds were pitifully slow. Some 12 months or more later I had an epiphany - could it be that Throttled was stymieing my LAN speeds and not just WAN as was intended? Removing this program made me a very happy LAN person. I am not sure if this program helped me shoot myself in the foot or it is just plain evil. The former is more likely, but I am still perplexed.

I have been using Transmission since 1.04 and am still experiencing "spinning beach ball" lockups of the OS (leopard). The only fix is for a hard reset - holding down the power button for 8 seconds. The mouse cursor can be moved but nothing responds.

Prior to the lock ups, the internet connection ceases.

1.06 still doesn't fix this problem as it has locked up twice for me today. No lock ups when Transmission is not running.

I don't think it works with Leopard. I have an Axim X30 and there is no new Network Device when I connect to the USB port. I am looking forward to this program working because I no longer wish to donate to Missing Sync each time OS X upgrades

With the appearance of so many excellent free DVD burning programs ie:

LiquidCD

Burn

SmallDVD

it is about time that Toast lifted it's game and fixed stability issues.

I paid the big bucks for Toast and now wish I didn't.

I recently tried 2.4.5 under OS X 10.4 and found the fonts were impossible to read on screen. Keep in mind that the problem is only with the OS X version of Abiword. There may be very few developers (if any) committed to the OS X build.

I managed to find 2.2.11 which seems to work well and saves to M$ doc format by default with a little tweaking. I prefer it to the latest NeoOffice and OpenOffice offerings.

Am very keen to see a 2.4.5 version that works and has been compiled as an intel binary.

I'll correct myself. It works fine as a server on OS X, but remember to open port 24800 on your firewall.

Last time I used synergy 1.3, it could not be run as a Server on OS X. Who is going to run a PC all the time so that they can use a Mac occasionally? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Does this work with the new intel dual cores?

When I tried a dvd, it crashed, but so did Handbrake.
