BIDULE I had the same problem on PPC 10.4.10, but after mounting on Leopard Intel, I could use it on PPC. Another tip : burn the dmg with Disk Utility and grab the app. However, new v. 5.0.3 mounts and works on PPC 10.4.10.

BIDULE Strange… The archive unzipped, but after, the "DMGConverter 5.0.2.dmg" can't be opened on PPC 10.4.10 , even with Pacifist 2.0.1. I opened it on Intel 10.4.11 and then, the app works perfectly on both systems, PPC 10.4.10 and Intel 10.4.11, and I can open created dmg on 10.4.10PPC too.

BIDULE Same warning on Intel 10.4.11 and PPC 10.4.10. I'm afraid it's Leopard only, works on Intel Leopard. (Version 5.0)

BIDULE Without previous warning, that app quickly shut down and open a browser page, you can see that datas were sent to Crucial !!! A manner to avoid LittleSnitch. "The program relays the info through the crucial.com website" is the main sentence to notice. (Version 1.0b)

BIDULE Yes, as I said, it launches on Intel 10.4.11 but hangs too. So why announce Platform:PPC/Intel and REQUIREMENTS Mac OS X 10.4 or later ? (Version 1.2.2)
| [ Reply ] | |

Search&Replace | Jan 9 2009 |
BIDULE I guess it's Leopard only : tried both on PPC 10.4.10, doesn't launches and Intel 10.4.11, hangs. Perhaps, you could change the Requirements announce to "10.5 Intel only" ? (Version 1.2.1)

BS0D Right, I use a command line to unquarantine the files and make sure they DO get processed. You know that message you get when you download a .dmg from the net ("blah blah was downloaded blah blah - are you sure you want to open?") Well it can keep some files from being processed, a problem that I had at first... So I'm guessing taht command line isn't valid on PPC? Sorry, I'm not sure what I could do for you here... BIDULE Now, it launches on PPC 10.4.10 but after clicking on "Go", I get an "Applescript error" : "sh: line 1: xattr: command not found (127)" and I have to "force quit". (Version 1.0.1)

TOMIS Double-clicking in the finder should work. Both Stuffit Expander and apple's ZIP decompressor (in 10.4) handle tar-bzip files. (Version 0.1)
