BGARLOCK @Monty Lee -- Perhaps your response is being filtered somehow? Marked as SPAM? I have virtually the opposite of your experience with support. Andy is lightning fast in responding, and does an excellent job of helping users out. I know he is busy with an iPhone app he is developing for The Hit List. Not that being busy with another app is an excuse for not responding, but I think maybe something out of Andy's control is in play here... (Version 1.4)

MONTY LEE Well I've used their automatic form in the program, all three of their addresses on the support page PLUS the email address listed in the program, two different personal email addresses AND my .mac email address, and three different computers. If they are flagging it as spam, then they have their filters set way too high. If you block all email from users, it kind of makes support non-existent. As for the question, it was very simple: How do you capture or print ALL the podcast Episode titles, date, and description. iTunes and Podcast Maker do not wrap the description so you can never see the entire description for all the episodes. So is there a way to print this (pdf) to use as a guide? (Version 1.4)

Soundboard | Aug 20 2009 |
BGARLOCK I love this app. both for Podcasting, and for just running in the background to summons a funny sound effect when situations call for some sound to loosen up the room a little. An excellent interface, by a top notch company. If you are already a customer of Ambrosia, look for a discount for purchasing Soundboard. (Version 1.0.2)

Firestarter FX | Jun 4 2009 |
BGARLOCK @MACCENTRIC: Run it in Rosetta (RT click on the Icon, choose 'Get Info', and check the 'Open using Rosetta' checkbox, and it should launch. Mine crashes on startup as well. I also did a little detective work, to find a working link for the RC1 build, which is not time limited: It seems like this is dead though. I got lucky finding this link, which only had a link to 1.0b12, which won't even launch because of the date expiration: (The link to b12 is close to the bottom of the page, and the entire page is in French) I just love this app, because it integrates the best (I think) command line CD burning software out there; 'cdrdao' -- Open Source, at sourceforge.net (Version 1.0rc1)

Is FireStarter-FX dead? It was the only GUI that used 'cdrdao' that I could find for OS X. Would like to see the broken links fixed to D/L the RC1, and know if this project is dead or not.

BGARLOCK Just wish that ExpanDrive and NTFS-3G could agree on a version of MacFUSE, and peacefully coexist. (Version 1.3.4)

PowerTerm Interconnect | Mar 25 2009 |
BGARLOCK By far the best SCO ANSI emulation I have found on this planet. Just wish they would make a Universal Binary, and add Tabs. Other than that, it is a great terminal emulator. If you are a Unix geek that connects to many, many different types of Unix systems, you need something like this, or you had better be real good at hacking terminfo files. This is the *only* terminal emulator I have found for the Mac that properly emulates SCO Ansi, along with the proper function key mapping. (Version 7.1.8)

ZOC Terminal | Mar 25 2009 |
BGARLOCK Wow, what a blast from the past. I remember using ZOC back in my OS/2 days. Great terminal emulator, but not very Mac Like. I still like PowerTerm from http://ericom.com -- by far the best SCO ANSI emulation out there. I just wish it had tabs like ZOC. (Version 6.07)

Microsoft Office 2008 | Dec 11 2008 |
BGARLOCK It starts up a lot faster (at least on my machine). It still seems a bit bloated, and I really wish it didn't cost so much. I think it should cost $39 for students/teachers. Most teachers and students I know, don't have $100+ to essentially be able to open word processing documents with one another. Open Office is a good choice, and now much more "Mac Like". However, MS shines with the TOC, Index, and revision control (track changes). (Version 12.1.5)

ROBOTANK OpenOffice also has the ability to track changes. It's under the edit menu. I use it to record changes on Word documents and then send them back to my Windows/Word using client. So far, there have been no issues with compatibility (in the .doc format; .docx still creates some issues and OO can't save in it). (Version 12.1.7)

BGARLOCK Who do I contact for registration issues? I got my invoice email, and got this for my registration information: [ ] After downloading, use this serial number for registration: Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. The request line contained invalid characters following the protocol string. (Version 1.3)

The Body Journal | Jun 18 2006 |
BGARLOCK Nicely written OS X app, that also has a Windows version. It has mostly Mac like application features, and also integrates with the website to give you the possibility to enter data into the website, and download it locally to your Mac at another time. I mostly use this to keep track of my medical conditions, and all of my prescriptions. You can provide a quick print-out of your current meds and conditions. A card is also issued, that someone could theoretically use to look up your medical condition, and I would suspect that something like this will be done in the future to help identify someone with a medical condition, and have all their current records available to the healthcare provider. I also have scanned in my previous medical records (paper) into a PDF, and "attached" them as documents into this program. The authors have really thought of almost every possible category. The program is easy to use, and about the only gripe I have with it, is the reporting capabilities. If you take a lot of prescriptions, or have a medical condition(s), The Body Journal is well worth the money. (Version 1.5)
