Good little app, works as advertised. But TinkerTool may also do (and more) what people want from this program. |

Actually all light regardless of color can be seen easily at night. I've been to Afghanistan and Iraq and no one uses Macs at all in a tactical environment. Marines and soldiers alike aren't even allowed to smoke because that tiny red light can be seen far away! |

Wow - what happened with this new update?!? The two-line interface changed a lot. It looks different from v0.1, to the point where I had to uninstall it. Please bring back the look of v0.1. |

How do I upgrade if I've already bought Saft 10? There is no link on the developer's page like for Saft for Tiger... |

Still the gold standard for Safari plug-ins. Well worth the money. With this new version the flash blocker is only 50% effective (on both an iMac G5 and a MacBook Pro). But I am sure that it will be fixed for future versions. Thank you, Hao Li! |

Most pro users looking for a replacement for MS Office are looking for the same functionality - the same interconnectivity (even interdependency) - that MS Office offers. Yes I should have directed my comments at OpenOffice (and I am sorry, no offence to the NeoOffice devs). But power users need that ability to interact across apps like what MS Outlook and MS Entourage offer to be able to make full use of these apps. Until then, both NeoOffice and OpenOffice will not be truly useful to anyone but small-scale users. |

What this desperately needs is a e-mail/calendar/address book (all in one) app like MS Entourage or MS Outlook. Without it, is really isn't worth it, despite the much-touted features and all the hype. I need such a feature as I use MS Entourage right now and it integrates right into MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. NeoOffice, while very stable, and full of features, does not translate MS Office docs very well. Formatting is the first to go - I depend on letterheads and maargins, spacing, etc. to remain just as I had it at work (where I use MS Office). Neo Office just moves everything around the page in PowerPoint and Word docs, and forget about macros in Excel sheets. Right now Neo Office is just good for the individual who just wants to use it at home, and just for a very limited use. Businesses need to go elsewhere if they have the same needs as I do (above). |

A lot of what this app can do can be done also by free apps out there. |

Have configured the app just the way the dev says to - yet my port always remains "stealthed" and I can't connect at all. This after 20 minutes of trying to figure it all out. |

Has a lot of trouble with distinguishing between apps that use multiple ports and those that only use one (or two). When you have to constantly set preferences for an app that uses multiple ports due to CONSTANT pop-ups from Little Snitch, it can get to be a....REAL PAIN IN THE BUTT. Other than that, it works as advertised. The beta you can get from the developer's website shows a much improved GUI, that seems to overcome this serious shortcoming, as you can set Little Snitch to now ignore attempts by app (thereby bypassing all of those repeated pop-ups), and not just by each individual attempt itself. The downside is that the beta WILL erase all of your prefs from the previous version. A further (huge) negative is that I kept getting pop-ups that seemed to come from something called "named" and something called "nttsup." I had no idea what these were, if I should allow them, or what...? I tried to uninstall the beta and it basically did something to my internet connection that kept me from...well, getting to the internet at all. I seriously hope that LS isn't going the way that Spamfire did, from a once great app to an overdeveloped lemon. |

This app looks great, but won't list anything for my University of Phoenix newsgroups. I made sure that all of my information is correct, it just won't show anything at all. Help, developer! |

Great -another icon to take up space on your desktop, in your dock,..... I suppose anything to take the pain and suffering out of having to open System Preferences is a good thing. |

Very handy. I recently got a bunch of audiobooks on CD and imported them into iTunes. This app was very useful! My only quibble is that there was no way for me to see if the chapters were incorporated until I uploaded them onto my iPod (though this might be a limitation of iTunes, and not the app). |

Trim the Fat is free. If this was a bit cheaper the price still wouldn't be justified as it still doesn't give warnings to many apps before slimming when it should. I used it on skype and skype has to be reinstalled afterwards. |

It is NOT a good idea to operate the laptop with the lid closed! You could cause damage to the computer due to overheating. |

I never said that it should be included asap. Do you always read so much into other people's comments? Adium just needs to integrate audio/video. If they did, their popularity would shyrocket. The Adium devs have not done a lot in terms of adding this functionality. Pretty simple. |

That is not a reason. They have been working on this integration for a long time, with no results. The Adium dev team needs to be a little more engaged with this - |

This application, despite it's many fans, still is limited by the fact that it won't do video. It is hard to understand - the popularity of Adium would probably go through the roof if it did incorporate video. |

I did restart Safari after installing. It will not view WMV even with the application installed. Restarting the Mac didn't help either. |

After installing nothing appears for any kind of movie (QT, WMV, etc). Recommend including a How-to manual with this. Otherwise stay away until one is included. |

This badly needs an uninstaller. I tried to uninstall it after iCal and Address Book would get hung up and I couldn't force-quit them after installing OmniGrowl. But no luck - I had to trash the OmniGrowl files I found under Spotlight and then quit the processes from within Activity Monitor for Growl and then log out/log in. It was the only way I could trash OmniGrowl. |

This is really only for external volumes, the dev needs to specify that in the release notes. Internal Mac HDs will auto-defrag anyway. |

Lots of features, and it is very easy to use. But word documents loss about 75% of their original formating, and powerpoint files just crash outright. Needs a lot more work to truly be a MS Office replacement. But it is just not compatible enough (it should also keep 100% of the original formatting!). |

I was one who was frustrated by some shortcomings on the earlier version - and they have now been fixed. So it's a really good way (for me) to work on my sites now. Thanks to the developer for the hard work! :D |

Features: Unknown, beyond the type. Would be nice to be able to do something with the "demo", if you can truly justify calling it that. Ease of Use: Hard to say, considering I couldn't use it. Couldn't find a feature that wasn't blocked. Value: Crap. Wait, let me rephrase that: S***. Stability: Stable as can be for something that just occupies space on your desktop/HD. |

Be careful of what you use this on...World of Warcraft had to be reinstalled after I used TrimTheFat on it (it wouldn't start up at all). That being said, it is pretty awesome - I saved over 1 GB! |

This is not a theme changer. It is an icon changer, and CandyBar does it better (and faster). Why is it called iThemeOS? |

It would help if you offered up an explanation of what happened, and not just a rant. Then the developer could possibly offer up a solution. |

This would be a great little piece of software if it weren't for the fact that once you split a domain file, you can't merge the two parts back together again. One would think this sort of functionality would be included with this sort of application, but the developer seems to have left it out(?). Not sure why - it has now left me unable to publish my family's site at all, as my original backup of my domain file causes iWeb to crash when I try to load it (on two different Macs). I would recommend steering away from this application until such a feeature was included. |

This installer will not run on my iMac G5 (running 10.4.6). Installer gets hung up (spinning beach ball) while looking for the files on my HD. The TechTool Pro folder was right in my Applications folder on my HD, not in my users/Applications folder (however I tried the update while moving the app there and I got the same result). I'm about done with this app, tired of waiting for an update. I'm moving on - |

Would be nice if I could get it to launch. I locate WoW in my Applications folder, then I activate WoWmapview. It promply seizes up and I end up with a spinning beachball, and have to force quit. This was the case on both an iMac G5 and a MacBook Pro. |

I have not been able to use this app at all, as iWeb Extender cannot find where to place the files on my .Mac iDisk. I tried the "publish to folder" option in iWeb first, and then drag and dropping the files into that folder, but the blog files were named differently. The GUI overall looks very nice, but the documentation needs to be fixed in a large way. I can't use an app if either iWeb Extender can't find where to put the files or at least tell me where to put them (the help documentation doesn't specify). |
