B0B  The .dmg appears to be corrupt, and fails to mount. I get the message "No mountable file systems" in the Finder using 10.4.11.

MACUPDATE ADMIN  I downloaded it from the San Jose, CA - North America mirror, and the disk image mounted just fine.

Here's the direct link to the file at the mirror I accessed:

JUST FRED  The problem is not with the .dmg. I've had the same issue with some downloads under 10.3.9. I downloaded this under 10.4.11 and it mounts just fine.

You might want to run diskutility and check your file system. Perhaps repairing permissions will solve the problem.

Also, try downloading the .dmg again. If you can, try using another machine...

B0B  An Error Occured

Can not install or register the new CocoThumbX Service. Please go to ~/Library/Services and delete the CocoThumbX service manually.

Then restart CocoThumbX

on launch after updating from an older version. I don't have a ~/Library/Services folder on my Mac. Where is the service installed?

OSX 10.4.9

SJK  Simple workaround for that error:

• Manually create ~/Library/Services

When you relaunch CocoThumbX after that it'll copy CocoThumbXService.service to that folder.

B0B  Effects and transitions are too fast - they're distracting and hurt the eyes. There should be some way to control the speed.

Not multiple monitor aware - the screensaver runs only on the main screen while the 2nd screen displays a fixed image.
