AWADO  It rather seems that you didn't read anything at all. At least you didn't understand what Joomla is and what CMS in general means. RapidWeaver is not a CMS.

AWADO  Since 2004 I regularly was haunted by a giant white click wheel every night. This little app was able to detect it and eliminate it. I feel much saver now. The only thing that bothers me is a note I found under my bed saying "Watch out for big mean Time Machine! C.W." Any hints?

AWADO  I can't say anything bad about this software. It's perfect for everyday work and when you configure it to fit your needs, it's more than just a replacement for the dock. Even when there were minor glitches their support forum is one of the fastest I know.

The best thing is a simple feature: bring all application windows to the front at once. It's a behaviour I'm missing in OS X since the days of OS 9.

The only thing that sometimes confuses me is the huge amount of preferences you can set. It took me ten minutes to find out how to rotate a dock. It's not in the dock's prefs windows, it's in the menu!

AWADO  Well, Growl is a framework and this is a Mail plugin. It focuses on Quartz Composer elements. At a first glance it might seem similar. But it is quiet different if you come closer.

AWADO  This is one of those apps you will ask yourself how you could have lived without it.

The download doesn't work now as its file name contains a space. Take this one:

http://www.bambooapps.com/appcasts/Quiet%20Read.zip

Would be nice if the menu could disappear after clicking a link. At he moment you have to click the menu icon to make it disappear.

AWADO  Still M$ is not M$ compatible! Word documents look different on the Mac version. And as soon as I try to move text via drag 'n drop (or do it accidentally) Word crashes. Once upon a time Word and Excel were really good software. But it seems these days are gone.

With iWork you get less bugs for less money.

AWADO  It seems there's more bug fixing than mentioned above. It now works without crashing in the update process and prefs dialogue. Well done!

AWADO  I agree with that. The same annoyances as with their server products. They get a lot of money for that and leave you alone with your problems in their endless forums.

And what's so difficult about giving a direct download link?

AWADO  After ten years of using the (paid) version I still wish it would get a bit more structured in its preferences window. I spent more time searching for a special setting in GC than for an image file on my disk.

AWADO  This is by far the best editor for programming purposes. I don't want to miss it anymore. Especially the GREPping in the search window is very useful when converting large tables of raw data. Also that Cyberduck integration saves pretty much time. You can edit files directly on the server. Kind of Mac like.

The only things i miss are a live preview of HTML code and a possibility to switch between a simple and an expert mode (like "Simple Finder"). So I could hand it over to clients, who are not very familiar with all the expert stuff, but can do some basic editing of their raw data without getting confused too much.

And the management of saved GREP patterns could be more intuitive. Changing a pattern through the pop up menu is a bit confusing. What about a persistent pattern list with change/save buttons for the selected pattern?

AWADO  I've been using (or should I say 'trying'?) this app for several years now since version 7. Version 7 was the only one, that seemed to be stable. 8 (updates incl.) crashed very often and sometimes even forced me to reboot. Considering the price this is very frustrating. The demo of version 9 is not much better. It crashes upon quit. (Regardless of any activated fonts or extensions!)

AWADO  Sorry to say: not worth the download. It rather looks like the first approach of creating a widget with a bunch of static images.
