The only thing I really miss is an option to automatically sleep/shutdown the computer when all torrents have been complete and the given seed rate has been met. Would it be possible to add this ???? SPRINGHEELMAC I agree, that would be a nice feature. However, if you are concerned about your computer being idle, consider 'Boinc' or 'Folding@Home' (both available here). Both programs participate in "distributed computing" for good causes; basically, your computer processes data for research in various fields in the background during idle time (or continuously,if you so desire, that's what I do). Its a good way to avoid feeling guilty about leaving the computer running if you must.

IANWEIR If you set transmission to keep your computer awake while downloading torrents (Preferences > Network > System sleep) and then set your system to sleep after being idle for 1 minute, you should get the same effect that you're going for.

RipIt	Aug 25 2008	ASTRAUB I have tried only one disk I know of youses a modern copy protection scheme: RFantastic 4 - rise of the silver surfer. Of course RipIt failed at the very start. Even MTR needs to use cell extraction to backup this movie. Those guys working at RipIT still have a very long way to go ..... (Version 1.0.4)		0

RIPIT Thanks for reporting this. We're working to source a copy of this disc (#4011976851066) so that we can further diagnose the problem, but from what RipIt collected when you filed the failure-report, this looks to be an instance of our largest remaining known-issue: It appears that RipIt's low-level UDF reading code has a bug that occasionally prevents it from finding the partition that contains the movie.

If you'd be willing to help us test possible fixes against this disc, by all means contact us via support@ripitapp.com -- For your trouble, we'd be happy to supply you with a fully registered copy free of charge.

beaTunes	Jul 17 2008	ASTRAUB in general there is a lot of potential, but also many shortcomings: - I cannot tell the program to keep existing cover art even if the program wants to add another one. I either have no art and get a new one or I have to let it overwrite what is there. Ever heard that there can be multiple covers in a file? - it is crash king! I had to turn off the "update when closing" function, as I nearly always lost all of my changes at the end, because the program crashed when writing back the data to iTunes. If this becomes more stable and a bit more intelligent I will certainly buy it! (Version 1.2.12)		0

BEATUNES Andreas,

1) beaTunes does not modify covert art at all.

2) beaTunes does not offer an "update when closing" function.

Maybe you meant to review another software?
