APGIULIANO  iTunes feeling the heat? Are you serious? With this 110.5 MB buggy piece of bloatware? Good heavens... Long way to go before it is ready for prime time. what is it updated perhaps 2x a year? NEXT!

APGIULIANO  That is expected. It takes about a full minute or more to release operations. The disclaimer says the same thing before you even give it permission to verify the startup disk...

Camino
Feb 27 2007

APGIULIANO  Oddly enough, I tried the E-mail Page Location from the main MacUpdate page as well as several other random pages from my own bookmarks, and the links showed up as intended.

I also bank with Citibank and have their Credit Cards and I have not yet seen a Citibank page render improperly. If one could be cited, (that is not seen through personal channels) it would be helpful.

Now I HAVE seen pages that FF and Camino will not render properly but Safari on Mac and IE on Win, do. Nature of the beast.

I have used Camino for a long long time and this evolution is getting as close to perfect as I could want. Once the Flash issues get ironed out (sometimes Camino chokes on Flash), and perhaps the Preference set a little more organized, Camino will be THEE Browser and set the bar. Keep up the great work.

APGIULIANO  Who cares what anyone thinks especially NOTAFOOL whom obviously has either too much free time on his or her hands to play the program thousands of times JUST to glean some fodder of their own fabrication, or the game has been superior enough to anything else on the market that they indeed have enjoyed giving it the workout (thousands of times? Sheesh!) Keep on marketing and building your program as you see fit... 18 years cannot be wrong!

APGIULIANO  Connects quickly and retrieves matches with lightning speed. Granted it does not find as many hits on the same search as Acquisition (for WHATEVER reason), but at the end of the day, I download everything I want and need with Acqlite with nary a nag nor disappointment!

APGIULIANO  The people who do not find it useful are the ones who are only at the first level of computer usage These are helpful tools for more in depth analyis of the internet, it's traffic and shortcomings. Whatroute contributes greatly to my job as a Systems Engineer. You would be amazed as to what this app has done that others of it's kind on the Mac fail to do...

APGIULIANO  I have used this program for many many years and have found it's value to be inestimable. Nothing on the Mac platform comes close to Whatroute's form and function. For example the reverse whois to the ISP by IP, and the mapping function make this the best of it's kind on the Mac. I am glad it was revived. Thanks old friend...

APGIULIANO  The What's New on the information page here, says the Helper only is a UB and if ANY part of any app is UB then it will be listed as such rather than the PPC regardless of the percentage of UB code to PPC People looking for such apps would end up not even finding this in their search. If that doesn't satiate your need for picking nits then address macupdate directly...

APGIULIANO  I always delete my Acquisition Support Files with each download before I launch the new App in case of such an instance... It is not unheard of or unreasonable to do so. Maybe it is not acceptable practice but I have not had issue one with Acq.

APGIULIANO  Page Up and Down work as expected for me under 10.3.9 Scrolling has always been a bone of contention with Firefox since they changed from the core engine of 1.7.12 and my fav extension, Smoothwheel does not work with 1.5 or DeerPark. Pity.

NINO GIULIANO  I enjoy using Safari as my main browser and have since it's inception. I find for a 1.0 it is stable and feature rich (speaking only for myself and my cpus of course) There are a few aesthetic issues, but I use Safari Enhancer and Safaricon to set minimun font sizes, remove link underlines and the brushed metal appearance. Given the combination of Safari and those 2 enhancement programs (which I am sure Apple will adopt sooner than later) even this 1.0 is superior to IE in it's 5.2.3 stage! I don't have a crash or a quit and haven't since v.67

APGIULIANO  Run a conflict test if you are savvy in that fashion, to determine if there is an issue with the iTunes extension or the Authoring Support Extension and other perhaps superfluous extensions you may have.

iTunes works and has worked wonderfully since it's inception and the latest 2.0.x incarnation is designed for USB laden computers and in my vast experience, and client base, has not locked up a client's computer running anything from 9.0.4 to 10.1.3 Good luck...
