SMTIPS  Might depend on what discs you're using. Memorex came out with some screwed up discs that are media code "CCMG." and there isn't even any info on videohelp.com about that media code. Every one of them failed I took them back twice. Damndest thing is, the first pack I bought of the same brand off the same shelf with identical packaging were Ritek media code and all 50 burned without a hitch. But that is with 9.02 so maybe it is Toast this time causing your issue.

ANDY49  What an interestingly evasive and sneaky way to try to weed out pirates. I'm sorry to say that I do have a valid license which was a waste of money so far. It was purchased under another name in my household. Obviously this bogus excuse is not the problem we are having. I reward good work and I have even donated money to the developers of freeware. Stop emailing me and posting demeaning comments and get to work.

ANDY49  I contacted Apple about this same problem that WINGS is experiencing. Apple said it was Ambrosia's fault and Ambrosia blamed Apple's last OS update. My hard drives are constantly cranking away and even caused a drive to fail. Apple replaced this drive, but the problem still exists. It took me quite awhile to find the culprit, which is Snapz Pro X 2.1.2. Quitting the process in Activity Monitor is the only solution aside from uninstalling Snapz Pro X 2.1.2. AMBROSIA PLEASE STOP DENYING THAT THIS PROBLEM IS YOURS. FIX IT!

AMBROSIASW  Hello Andy,

You previously refused to send us any log files, including the ones you sent to Apple, or steps to replicate the issue. We tried to help you back in April but you wanted to peruse legal methods instead. If you would like to work with us to to get to the bottom of your issue, you can send any relevant information to Help@AmbrosiaSW.com. Thank you...

ANDY49  I don't know how many people know this, but Roxio Toast 8 and 9 converts and burns these files perfectly into playable DVD's. No need for this.

ANDY49  This does not convert mkv files on 10.5. It says complete within seconds.

MyMenuDate

ANDY49  This developer is the best. He responds to questions and is open to suggestions and works tirelessly to solve problems. MyMenuDate is the best program of its kind. It uses a minimal amount of memory and is one of those little programs that should have been incorporated within the OSX system in the first place.
