ANDU  After upgrade from Parallels Desktop version 4 to version 5 Windows XP virtual machine fails to boot. Blue Screen of Death is displayed

The BSOD happens due to multiple CPUs assigned to the virtual machine. Please decrease the amount of CPUs down to 1.

1. Shut down your virtual machine if it is running now.

2. Click on Parallels Desktop top menu > Virtual machine > Configure or on Configure button on virtual machine panel.

3. Switch to General tab and in Processors drop-down list set virtual machine CPU number to 1.

4. Press OK to save changes and start the virtual machine. This time it should boot normally.

5. Login and wait while Parallels Tools are being installed.

You can also try to remove Floppy Disk from virtual machine's configuration (Virtual Machine > Configure... > Hardware tab > Floppy Disk; press [-] to remove it).

Start virtual machine.

After Parallels Tools are installed, it is safe to return the previous CPU amount.)

ANDU  Great application that behaves as expected. Perfect to write complex text with straight forward formatting, easy to handle templates and compatibel (ms word (better than textedit/pages), opendocument, rtf …). It comes with the charme of apple system feeling: a good way to do the work.

Automatic Document naming, easy and flexible way to handle fields for automatic date etc, seperate "first page layout" and a lot more features that are very well integrated in a clear and helpful way. I am just happy to have rediscovered again this one after 10 years after trying (and buying) most of the other "word processors" around.

ANDU  works for me, I like that it's "Universal", created Index-file is searched by Spotlight (so you find files on unmounted Volumes, which I find very important), it's fast, takes little space to store Information (could maybe get an option to collect preview of media files)

very straight forward, flexible, you can even set in the preferences wether you want to paste immediatly or keep in clipboard (e.g. to paste accross networking in a windows system). I tried several other software and always returned to this one.

Would be perfect if on my powerbook I could use the "fn" - key with uio,jkl for 456, 123. Until now I always get a double keystroke:e.g.: with "fn"-u: 44 instead of 4.
