ANDREABERGIA  It's never gonna be, as it uses *exactly* the same component Preview uses for displaying the PDF. The bonus for using PDFView is the other features: auto-resize, LaTeX support, and so on.

ANDREABERGIA  > When in full screen, in order to go to the next or previous page I have to type 'command-arrow'. If I just tye 'arrow', nothing happens.

Good idea, I can implement it.

> Also, as far as I can tell, when NOT in full screen, if I type '=' or '+' or '-', nothing happens. If I type 'command-=' or 'command-+' etc., the zoom changes as expected.

That's weird, it worked, and I don't why it's not working any more. I'll look into it, thanks.

ANDREABERGIA  Point 1, 2, 3, 4 are not easy to do, mostly because I use the standard Tiger's component for displaying PDF (exactly the same used by Preview, or Safari), and this doesn't support it. It's possible, however, to "improve it" and add those functionalities, but it's not easy, given that I don't have lots of experiences in Mac Os X programming - PDFView's my first program. Let's say I'll look into it when the other planned features will be done.

> 5. In full screen view, is the scroll bar on the right absolutely necessary? After all, the whole point of full screen is to hide control elements.

I think so. Yes, you can use two fingers on the trackpad to scroll, or Mighty Mouse's super-whell, and now also drag the document with the hand tool, but for long documents, the scroll bar is much faster. I don't really see a reason to remove it, as it doesn't take lots of spaces and it's really useful.

> 6. In full screen view, I like that the reader can use various keys without the command-key. This behavior should probably also apply to arrow keys ("Next" and "Previous").

I can't understand what do you mean by this (by the way, since version 0.11.8 you can use the keys without the command-key also outside full screen mode).

> Thanks for all the good work so far.

You, and all the other user who left those comments, are really welcome.

ANDREABERGIA  As for the "no way to select text", on the toolbar there's a button to switch between hand/select mode. I'm gonna add some keyboard shortcut, in the next version; however, I'm now gonna use space, as it already scrolls down the document (something I find very useful).

As for the problems with the multiple screen, I really don't know how to debug it, as I don't have two screen. I am sorry, I'll try to look into it anyway, but I can't promise anything.

And as for the drawing tool, I plan to include them, alongside with some form of highlighting. But, for the next release, I want to focus on the miniatures support.

Thanks for the 5 stars, anyway :-)
