I have bought DL – and I've trashed it now. It messed up all Address Book entries again, duplicated those with non-latin characters and changed the characters to ASCII nonsense.

These guys just don't figure it out...

I use it with Leopard - and it works better than Leopard "The Disaster" itself.

On my Xmas wish list: SafariPlus in sync on different Macs. All the filters I create on my iMac are not on my MacBook. This would be GREAT.

Just change the preferences setting to mp4. :-)

Great idea. Thank you very much!

Works perfectly; there is just one reason why I still prefer AmazonPedia: I can browse the search results BEFORE Safari gets engaged and wastes time with loading the resp. Amazon page.

Apart from technical issues that I had, too:

If you want to ruin your musical sensibility by distorting your music's original frequencies: go ahead and download this stuff. Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump. Um-pah. Um-pah. Um-pah. Um-pah. M-pf. M-pf. M-pf. M-pf.

Sync Services: THE great improvement! Great!

Still missing:

• Sync of notes (like SOHO Notes, Mark/Space Notebook)

• Integration of iCal Birthday Calender

Thanks a lot for the good work!

I wonder why it doesn't work with Mail.app.

Mail doesn't appear within the apps list - and Growl doesn't show new emails. :-/

I agree with the critics above re. the flaws. But its automatic focusing on what you are working on is a huge advantage compared to apps like Novamind. All you don't need at the moment is out of the way.

All the flaws in mind, I wonder if there is an alternative with the same concept (interactive auto-focusing) and without the weaknesses (look-and-feel, partly obtrusive and illogical behavior...)?

Thanks a lot for a hint!

I gave it a try, too. It's utter crap like Acquisition - crashes all the time, loses partial downloads with every update and after every crash, i.e. daily... And like ever before, this aszhole never answers any mails. Never. You can't produce crap like this AND ask money for it AND refuse to help customers out of the mess you've ridden them in.

BEWARE of trying 1.0.42! It sent all my current downloads into the binary nirvana, hundreds of megs.

Once you tried this guy's crap, you won't waste a thought on buying it.

BEWARE of installing this crap. It's useless, ok, BUT you won't get rid of all the background processes that are installed stealthily and that keep on running even if you but this garbage where it belongs. It took me DAYS to find out what was going on behind the curtain and entirely send this b...s... down the toilet.

Does not work. Useless. You can't even open a file; the "Open" command is grey.

This app stinks just like Acquisition. I paid for A., I deeply regret it, I won't ever pay for this one.

OK, sometimes files download fast. But in my queue I have 10 files that won't complete. 99% loaded, e.g. 77MB of 78 - and that's it. Same with new files. It stops downloading after 80% - 99%.

And in all my Mac years I have NEVER met anyone so unresponsive like this guy. And this is what I hate most. Problems may arise with any app. But if you don't get any assistance by the developer, trash it. And forget that MF.

It IS absolutely unstable - like Acquisition. That Java guy just don't savvy it.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD VERSION 1.3.2.5 unless you want all your previous unfinished downloads to be lost!

I was dumb enough to erase my older version by this one on both Macs - on both, the download list is empty now. All half-downloaded files are still in the "Incomplete" folder, but they don't appear in A. any more.

This guy should be locked up in some programmer asylum... Poor? Him? Much "poorer" are all those people who invested their money in this crapware.

I wonder what what kinda b*s* this guy's new project (Xtorrent) will be....

BEWARE OF DOWNLOADING!

I've had a dozen crashes & freezes during the last 10 minutes since install. Apple has never published a software this buggy before. Hey, where is their quality control???

"If if an app and a head clash together and it sounds like an empty hall, its not always the app, that makes the noise."

SOHO Organizer synchronizes perfectly – but this is the only thing I envy, as a Marketcircle Daylite user. This one cannot be compared to kid stuff like Yojimbo. SOHO is on a good way, but only at the beginning.

This is the ultimate utter crapware.

Never on all my Macs have I had an app that crashed practically on every shutdown.

Never have I had an app that froze that often.

Never have I had an app that refused my registration information blankly. (Now, what would you do? Yeah, ask the guy who created that crap! But…)

Never have I had an app whose creator refused to answer any question or complaint about his garbage.

Never have I BOUGHT such sh… – except Acquisition. And I won't ever do it again.

Since FileMaker 4, there were no improvements I really needed. BUT there is one thing I really need, one of the basic OS X features that even FM 8.5 is not capable of: SPOTLIGHT.

Is it THAT difficult to integrate this? Just savour this: A database that is not ready for searches (external, Spotlight). Its only purpose is to store and manage information - but you cannot access any information from outside.

FM 8.5 is 3 years behind!!! Who cares if it's Intel compatible? This is a gimmick, compared to Spotlight compatibility.

I wonder why I should wander around with my mouse over my 20'' screen and err through that old OS 7 Apple menu when I can start up any app or document by typing its first letters in Spotlight, no matter where it's situated on my HD. :-/

I have 6.0.2; when I start it up, there's an alert that a newer version ist available (6.0.3), but Software Update can't find any.

Now there's 6.0.4 – Software Update can't find an update, and the downloaded update can't be installed because there is no appropriate version available on my hd.

Hey, what's going on???

Good idea, badly done. Dropdown menus are way too slow and appear anywhere except where they should. And I don't need a Widget that tells me "Connect to Network" is achieved by CMD-K; I can see that any time I click on the Finder Menu Bar. Etc. etc. I need a quick utility that tells me how I can get exotic letters like Ø, Œ, Å, å, ©, ë. xCuts can't do that - at least I couldn't find out how in the 5 minutes before I trashed it.

Folks who have never had any problem with Aq.: Why do you think might someone else try to contact the developer? Difficult question, I know, for someone without any troubles with this app. But give it a try: Why might I have tried to contact this guy? Bingo! Because * I * did have problems! And I'm still having problems with Aq. every day, even after trashing its prefs (and losing tons of partly downloaded files) several times, re-installing it over and over again... No update fixes Aq.'s issues (it keeps freezing downloads and "forgetting" them after restart).

You may say "love it or leave it". Yep, I would say so, too - if I hadn't paid for this crap. Thus, I have a right to get problems fixed, I have a right to contact the developer, I have a right to get an answer. - Three NOs.

Buy a pig in a poke?

I got a VoIP phone - an neither my ISP nor Phlink developers are willing to answer any questions re. this app with my hardware. I have no idea if it would work or not. I'd have to buy it, hop or drop. But I won't. This is no option for me.

This guy just doesn't savvy how to compile a decent app that does its job without crashing every day.

A. still loses downloads. Days and weeks of waiting vanish into A.'s nirvana.

A. is slower than ever. Click "resume" and start waiting for the beachball to go away. (A new and impressing nuisance; congratulations!)

The developer never answers to questions, remarks, complaints - even if you're a registered user.

SO WHY BUY THIS CRAP ???

I did buy it a year ago - and regret it every time I try to use it. Bad karma: spending money for an app whose only purpose is theft. Here I am, punished.

I liked it, too. I even bought it. And I'm totally disappointed. Right now, a 1.2 GB file has gone to Acquisition's digital nirvana. And if I trash its prefs, this file will be lost for good - like all the others that are only partly downloaded.

And all you get from this developer kid are useless bulk replies.

You can use A. for free, too. DO NOT BUY IT!

It still can't process iTMS files.

So, what is it good for, if you have music you encoded yourself, and music you bought? Try to listen to such a playlist: your ears will fall off...

It's a good idea, but without m4p support: forget it.

This is my major issue, too:

ICAL SUPPORT IS THE ABILITY TO EXPORT TO ICAL.

Every time you'd like to sync, eh? - Ridiculous.

WHY ARE THESE FOLKS NOT ABLE TO DO A *REAL* ICAL INTEGRATION? It's like saying George W. Bush II was a *real* democratic politician. It's a silly joke, not more.

I BOUGHT this app - and I am disappointed. Without sync possibilities with iCal, I can't sync with my online calendars, nor with my cell phone.

Without a calendar that's publishable in the internet and syncable with cell phones, what is such a CRM app good for???

Forget about it. Use iCal and wait for something better. Before you spend 150 bucks.
