ADAMLOGAN  I do not know of a workaround. Please understand that all my issues happened after I installed Mac OS 10.6. After that I have not been able to get the functionality of Insomniax to work again thus far. Even when doing an erase and re-install of 10.6 and even 10.5.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application as suggested on the developer's website. Tried different versions of the Insomniax software on both 10.5 and 10.6. Nothing seems to work for me now. It may be that the firmware/bios got updated and cannot regress. I don't know. My computer had serious issues with Insomniax though. I would have to do a safe boot to log in to my account. I think that was because secure virtual memory is on by default when installation of os 10.6 is installed and I forgot to disable it & reboot before installing Insomniax.

I have opened a ticket at http://helpdesk.semaja2.net/ to see if there is a solution to this problem.

ADAMLOGAN  I am having this issue as well. I have an early mac book pro model running with leopard 10.5, kernel panics happen when insomniax is launched. Sometimes I can launch the program without having a kernel panic, but then the features of the program do not work.
