If you peruse the User Forum at yummysoftware.com you'll see that a 1.7.3 update is imminent (on my return from vacation, in fact) and a 1.8 feature and enhancement upgrade is to be released shortly after. On top of that, development is already underway for version 2.0 Rest assured, I will never abandon my customers or my software :) Yummy Software (Version 1.7.2)

YUMMY SOFTWARE Please contact me about the interface issue you have experienced via the 'Email Support' option in the Yummy FTP 'Help' menu. I don't have any other reports of interface problems, so I'm perplexed! I'd love to fix whatever it is you're seeing.

TREEVIEW Just wanted to say thanks for this free upgrade, it was really nice of you. :) As soon as I can manage to scrape up some extra cash I think I'll step up to a full license; this app is really great. Thanks again! (Version 1.5.3)

YUMMY SOFTWARE LRKIRSCH : Just some points... 1. All of the free apps offered at Mac App A Day cannot be upgraded for free. Yummy FTP is no different. 2. Mac App A Day users who wish to upgrade to version 1.5.3 of Yummy FTP and receive free updates in the future can do so using the MAADUPGRADE coupon code. This will give a $15 discount, yes FIFTEEN, not $10 as you stated 3. Version 1.5.3 includes a number of important bug fixes. Just from this point of view alone it is an essential update, but at the reduced price of $10 it is an absolute bargain! Please support the future development of Yummy FTP! (Version 1.5.3)

LRKIRSCH Thanks for the correction. I must have had 10 in my head from subtracting 15, and mixed up which number was the discount later that night when I wrote my comment. Sorry! =( Guess I can't edit my comment so I will reply to myself. I do think the discounted price is a great deal, even when I thought the amount was higher, and I hope many people buy a full license. I like your app better than Cyberduck, which is what I usually used prior to getting the MAAD license. I'm personally just not uploading enough recently to feel like purchasing an FTP app at this time. About the MAAD apps, I pretty much realized that. I guess the process with YummyFTP was just different and so I got my hopes up :) My last intention is to complain about free things :) (Version 1.5.3)

YUMMY SOFTWARE Well, think about it. I am the developer. I wrote the encryption. Don't you think I would be able to decrypt my own encryption? How else could Yummy read the Bookmarks?? (Version 1.5.1)

YUMMY SOFTWARE Mojolive - as you've emailed me many times before, telling me how things "just work" with Yummy and "just fail" with Transmit, I'm surprised at your post. To clear up the 'issue' with the password - the password can be stored in the Bookmark *as an option* but normally it is stored in the Keychain, just like Transmit does. And just for your information, the Bookmark file itself is highly encrypted, so you would need to decipher it first anyway.... Yummy Software (Version 1.5)

YUMMY SOFTWARE It has come to light that since the turn of the year, an issue has arisen which results in server dates appearing ahead of time. This stems from a change of default settings in v.1.1.5. In the interim while a permanent fix is being prepared, please enable the check box named 'Validate suspect datestamps' in the Server Options tab of the Preferences, and this will remedy the problem. YUMMY SOFTWARE There have never been any reports of disappearing windows or the menu bar, so this does sound very much like a problem with your system - maybe some haxie you have installed plays badly, or perhaps you are activating Expose without realising? Just guesses.. In any case, if you experience problems, please contact us in the first instance, by selecting 'Email Support' from the Help menu and you will receive prompt assistance. www.yummysoftware.com (Version 1.1.5)

YUMMY SOFTWARE Thanks for your feedback. We would dearly love to create localized versions of Yummy FTP, but unfortunately localization is quite a costly and time consuming development for a very small developer such as Yummy Software. This is the reason why only English is supported at present, but we will get there eventually. (Version 1.1.5)

YUMMY SOFTWARE If you're setting the local path in the Bookmark editor, you must also uncheck the 'Use setting from preferences' checkbox. We have re-tested this feature and verified it as working, both for trial and registered users. If you continue to have problems, please contact our support team.
