XPLODINGBOY I just launched the previous version (4.1) of this utility and I was prompted to update to the newest version, so I did. The previous version was free, and the new update is paid shareware. When I was prompted for the update, the cost change was not mentioned.
I think that utilities released for free should remain free with very few exceptions. If a developer wants to add additional functionality to their free utility and charge for that different utility, that would be great. Just have two versions, free and paid more functionality.
