WANDERER Very useful tool but how clumsy is that cropping tool? I can't for the life of me work out how it's supposed to work! Fix it please? (Version 1.0)

WANDERER It's free software, you have no right to complain about the way the author decided to implement it. I'm no expert but I'm sure he's done the best under the circumstances. (Version 2.5)

WANDERER Well it wasn't working before, maybe this will get TM to do what we want, personally a daily backup is enough for me, not hourly. If it works I'll put up with the daemon. (Version 2.5)

WANDERER Sadly the name and icon do reflect on an application. Silly names are fine if they are catchy, this one is just silly, sorry mate. The icon looks like an afterthought too. (Version 1.1)

ALBERTO_CORBI You're not right: the OS does not do what Icosystem does. - It doesn't color icons, just icon names - It won't display animations - It won't apply color to just icons (and not to the icon name) - many other things, you're missing. Icosystem does do all the previous actions! Have you really tried Icosystem? It's worth $8!! (Version 2.1)

GARY30 Plus, Labels X, even though I very much like the people and the effort at Unsanity, will probably never work on Leopard because the APE situation looks untenable. Also, from what i can see, this app isn't a hack and finally, OS X's native label colors suck. (Version 2.1.1)

StuffIt Deluxe 2010 | Nov 22 2007 |
FLEEB OS X's built-in Zip compression is quite useful, but not perfect -- it does not preserve creation dates. I have no idea why, but if you want to save _all_ directory data for your files, .sitx does it and .zip doesn't. Also, if you need to send Mac files to some poor benighted person running 10.2 or earlier (Stuffit Expander was distributed with these OSes), Stuffit is the best way to preserve Mac resource forks and directory info. So, not worth $80 but might be worth $30. (Version 12.0.1)

ALEXANDER REPTY Thanks for the update. Does the backlit keyboard work by itself, if you let Mac OS X handle it? Did you try Lab Tick in bright daylight or in a darker environment? Some people have reported that the backlit keyboard might not be visible well even at full brightness if the ambient light is too bright. Try running Lab Tick, crank up the illumination to the highest level and hold your hand over your keyboard to see if it is lit. Alexander (Version 0.6.2)

CLONDON I am also having this problem. My backlight works fine, except for the fact that it will unpredictably go off and then come back on again as I type, in an annoying manner. I found LabTick and hoped it would solve my problem. I run 10.4.7, and the app will not launch. (Version 0.6.3)

browseback | May 3 2006 |
WANDERER A great concept, many a time I remember the look of a site I want to go back to but can't remember the name, Browseback quickly finds it. However, once the specified cache "limit" is reached the application dies! Surely it can delete older files in the cache by itself? If you do it manually it works again. Note: The files are kept in Documents/browseback. (Version 1.1)

WANDERER Sorry but it does not work. The background picture, although copied and made invisible does not show no matter how many times I mount the image. It lets me select the SLA (the sample resource supplied) but it does not display. Apparently the image has to be read-only for it to display the SLA? I made it read-only with another utility, still did not display the SLA. Has promise but no performance for me. (Version 1.1)

ANONYMOUS Thank you so much for your error report. The error occurred because you either started the application from a disk image or were using a monitor with a resolution larger than 1024x768. We have changed the error message to indicate that the software should be installed on a write-enabled disk. We have also removed the unexpected behavior with higher resolutions. We believe we have dealt sufficiently with both issues. If not, please report it again. Your feedback is highly appreciated. (Version 1.0.1)
