VYACHESLAV ZAKOVYRYA  > Well, you could use the index to improve the search results or show matching index entries in the search results. For example if I take the php_manual and search for opendir the page for opendir has not the highest relevancy. Pages with a matching index entry could have the highest relevancy or the results could be splitted into two sections.

I actually like the first idea most - matching index entry will have the highest relevancy. I wanted to have more sophisticated system for relevancy calculation.

> Multi doc is not a must, it's just a suggestion. An alternative could be SnapBack or a history menu like in Safari.

History menu does appeal to me (it's funny, initially I thought to implement bookmarks the same way)

Thanks again for suggestions, they are very valuable

VYACHESLAV ZAKOVYRYA  >> - No Index - did you mean build custom index for CHM files that weren't compiled with this option on? If yes, I plan to include it some of future release

> I mean the build in index which xCHM shows.

Will think about it. My goal is to keep interface as simple as possible. This is why I use the same compartment for table of contents and search results. Introducing this feature will require some moderate changes in the UI

>> - No tabs or multiple document windows - To be hones I don't see any value in this feature, each CHM has its own window

> Well, it could be nice to see two pages simultaneously. I could need it at the php manual.

There could also be third way by creating a split window.

The same problem as before. It'll require a lot of thinking through to make it easy to use

Thanks for your comments, I really appreciate it. Here is some thoughts from me.

- No Index - did you mean build custom index for CHM files that weren't compiled with this option on? If yes, I plan to include it some of future release

- No options for searching - perfectly valid, scheduled for 1.3

- No "find in page" - actually Cmd+G and Shift+Cmd+G are shortcuts for that. If you REALLY need something different, I can schedule it for future

- No toolbar button for print (but Cmd+P works) - Will do in 1.2 or 1.3

- No tabs or multiple document windows - To be hones I don't see any value in this feature, each CHM has its own window

Thanks again for your feedback
