Apple iPod Shuffle Reset Utility	Oct 26 2006	VINCELEERS This app gave me hope as I can't mount or activate my Shuffle anymore. But since my Mac doesn't recognize it anymore, I can't use the Software to reset the iPod. It's a vicious circle! Does anyone of you have an idea how I could fix it? It doesn't even show a sign of being powered by the US port (I tried them all), you know... (Version 1.0)		0

PETER DA SILVA According to the instructions it can take 3 minutes for it to recognise the iPod, and you may have to run it up to 3 times to make it stick.

MACFENTON Have you tried re-starting under OS 9 with the shuffle as just a USB device?

Since the Apple Restore deletes all your music and restores it to "good as new", maybe that might help or at least it might get it to mount then you could restart under OS X and try to see if it will mount then.

Not sure if this will work, but it's an idea (just).

BRUJI If you want to use Bwana with OmniWeb, add the following lines to the scripts.strings file. (You can access the file by ctlr-clicking the Bwana icon and then navigate to Show package contents/Contents/Resources/scripts.strings) These are the lines you need to include in the script:

OmniWeb

tell application "OmniWeb"

GetURL "file://%@"

end tell

After that save the file and you'll be good to go.

OmniWeb	Jul 20 2006	VINCELEERS maybe it doesn't have a single $30 feature, but it certainly has many $5 features. to name a few: shortcuts that don't suck (create shortcuts from any search field with ease). thumbnail tabs. workspaces. url completion that doesn't suck. drag 'n' drop within the app and to/from other apps works much better than in all the other browsers. site-specific preferences. html editor which works quite well (i administer a small website with omniweb). good ad-blocking. detachable fields (perfect for e-mail via form fields, or forum entries). windows are saved, so no need to fear a crash, even with dozens of open windows. ... MACUPDATE ADMIN Downloads ok and the .dmg mounts fine here, try another browser or clear your browser cache, etc.

Flip4Mac WMV Player	Jan 11 2006	VINCELEERS QuickTime keeps crashing when I close an open wmv file. Finder crashes when I try to view a wmv in the Finder preview. I don't know if Safari crashes, too. At least Camino seams to work with it... Could the 7.0.4 update of QuickTime be the problem? (Version 2.0)		0
