I was quite surprised when I did lsof -i. I wonder why this server opens an http connection to http://greatestpurpose.com/ whois greatestpurpose.com reveals also some interesting info. I wonder. NAT traversal? Hmm. Now, I am paranoid, no doubt but, at least, I would appreciate if this sneaky "feature" was documented. Remember, this is a server running as root. |
