VGZ I've used NNW for years, I even paid for it way back when. This new version is adware, and has become an utter pile of garbage. After making the app free and now expecting me to pay for it again when it's worse than it was before is unacceptable. I've trashed the desktop client, deleted the iPhone version and I'm looking for something to replace them. Since they added the ads, the app has crashed constantly, and the google sync no longer functions properly. I'm glad the beta version actually synced to google properly so that I can transition my feed list easier. (Version 3.2)

VGZ Excellent Application. Simple and does what you need. I do have one request though, please add support for growl (http://growl.info/) notifications. (Version 1.0)

VGZ Are you working on an update for snow Leopard? It seems to work, for the most part. The only major issue I've seen is that it doesn't register when a disk is ejected. Had to turn it off and on in the prefpane to get it to stop showing the install disk for 10.6. Also, having to relaunch System Preferences to load the 32-bit prefpane is annoying. ^_~ (Version 2.6)

VGZ b13 will work w/ Safari 4 beta, however it appears that the build was just a quick one to fix it so that it wouldn't crash Safari. Considering how quickly they got 13 out after Safari 4 was released as a beta, I'd guess that a bit of patience will be rewarded w/ another build that restores the missing functionality. Keep up the excellent work MHO. (Version 1.0b13)

ERASERHEAD_UK Psionics are Hard, Natural Armour is probably a good idea, but you can use the "Armour" field, and I don't think there are any rule changes. (Version 2.0.6)

ERASERHEAD_UK Good point, I'll see what I can do, but I'm not sure there is space in the UI, as the armour screen is quite tight. I do respond promptly to email suggestions on contact@erasersoft.com, as I don't check my external site reviews very often. (Version 2.0.6)

VisualBoyAdvance | Mar 17 2008 |
MR. MACINTOSH23 I think VBA will be updated, it's just that Adam Green currently doesn't have enough developers to continue updating VBA. When that happens, VBA will be updated to Universal Binary. Why are you using VBA on your MBP? Use Boycott Advance. It's Universal Binary, but there's a Battery RAM problem, thus use the Freeze/Defrost function until the Gameboy Advance is no longer on commercial sale, which probably won't be for a VERY! LONG! time. (Version 1.7.4)

MR. MACINTOSH23 On my G4 eMac, Boycott Advance pops into the dock, and runs like a charm, regardless of whatever version it is. I am running Mac OS X v10.4.11. When I was running Mac OS X v10.3.9 on my old G3 iMac, this same thing happened, but it only did it to the Tiger releases. I know you're running either Mac OS X Tiger or Leopard, because the word "Intel" didn't even exist with Mac OS X Panther. Before, Boycott Advance was only PPC-based, but then Richard Bannister updated it to Universal Binary, thus I think your problem is, you're probably running a "PPC only" version of Boycott Advance. Try downloading Boycott Advance v0.3.9 and see if that works. If not, then I'd advised you to stay away from GBA emulation FOR GOOD! (Version 1.7.4)

MACUPDATE_ACCOUNT As VGZ says, Leopard Terminal will crash immediately if SIMBL/Visor tries to load it. However, the Tiger Visor/VisorTerminal application will continue to work fine in Leopard, so I highly recommend you keep a copy of that around until Visor (hopefully) gets updated. I'm really looking forward to a tabbed Visor Terminal. (Version 1.2.1)

TSHAWKINS You don't need this for leopard, it already has php 5.2.2 installed by default, you just need to activate it by copying the php.conf file into the right place. Tiger also has php 4.3 installed by default, again it just needs activating to run. (Version 5.2.2)

Audiobook Builder | Jul 9 2007 |
VGZ There should be an option to NOT break the audiobooks into separate parts. I prefer having one file per audiobook so, for me, this program is not very useful on books over 12 hours. Please add an option to make single part books, no matter the length. I know iTunes and the iPod/iPhone can handle them. They worked perfectly fine with the 26 hour audiobook (HP5) I ripped and chaptered with ChapterToolMe. (Version 1.0.7)

Safari Tidy plugin | Jun 6 2006 |
VGZ There seems to be a bit of a glitch in the validation. I keep getting the following warning on this line of code: ' escaping malformed URI reference' Double clicking the warning highlights the 'n' in 'span' specifically. The page validates with both dreamweaver's built in validator and the W3C validator, so something is wrong w/ the plug-in. Any ideas? Also, has anyone else using this noticed just how few pages actually validate? (Version 0.2)

VGZ Small feature request: Can you please add an option to put a timestamp on all messages? iChat's default of putting the time in after roughly 10 minutes of idle time between messages is kinda annoying to me and I'd prefer to have the actual timestamp for each message, makes it easier when going back through an older chat. VGZ Great program, but there is a small bug in the interface. The production number and episode number fields are reversed. This can be worked around by entering the production number in the ep # field and vise versa. (Version 0.3.2)

NORVILLE Lostify is actually working as designed; the problem is the terminology used by iTunes. There are two different "episode number" tags that Lostify can set in your MP4 files: "tven" and "tves". Both are episode numbers, but "tven" is a text string, and "tves" is a plain number. The "tven" tag is used to store a text string that most TV-oriented websites (like TV.com) refer to as the Production number. It usually has reference to the order in which the episodes were produced, but does not necessarily correspond to the broadcast order. Sometimes it is a 3 or 4 digit number, and sometimes it has an alphabetic prefix and/or suffix. This is why Lostify currently labels it as the "Production #". However, iTunes displays the contents of this tag in the "Episode #" column or field. The "tves" tag contains only a number. It is probably used internally by iTunes to order episodes within a season (I'm not sure about that), but it is never displayed directly in the user interface as far as I know. I believe it refers to the episode's sequence (as aired) in its given season. Lostify currently labels this field "Episode". I agree the labelling is confusing. In the next version, if I changed "tven" to be "Episode/Production #", and "tves" to be "Sequence #", would that help? (Version 0.3.2)

PithHelmet | Jan 23 2006 |
VGZ Breaks Safari's automatic RSS update. After I installed it, Safari 2.0.3 no longer updates my RSS feeds every 30 minutes. Reverting to the factory rules doesn't solve the problem. Telling Pith not to filter content doesn't work either. Removing the pithhelmet.bundle is the only thing that fixes the RSS settings in Safari. Guess I'll have to mess w/ Saft's blocking now. VGZ Please consider adding a checkbox to match the artist and show field since they are usually the same value. Also, even w/ the current version (0.2.1), the underscore problem seems to be occurring w/ the show field. The two files I've used this version to tag, are showing up at the top of the ep list when sorted by show (the series shows up in Front Row twice as well). For some reason, when I retagged older eps, the show field didn't get shifted to match. Any ideas? (Version 0.2.1)
