Yes, thanks. It seems that my scanner just simply isn't supported.

It sees my Canon Scan LIDE and the scan head moves for the preview, but nothing shows and the scan button is never highlighted.

Is this some sort of joke Microsoft?!

Cannot test it since the VNC server I'm connecting to requires login and password. Don't see where to enter that anywhere in JFV.

Works rather well, but using the blu-ray beta plugin with DVD Studio pro STL (spruce) subtitles does not convert the < > tags for italic formatting into something useful, but instead puts the <> tags in the png files, and that is not very good. Please fix.

The first keystroke sometimes ignored when typing has not been fixed with the update for MacBooks and MacBook Pros, and Apple has now locked the huge thread about the problem on their forums.

I therefore encourage you to sign this partition:

Did not fix anything. I just had the Caps lock + Num lock turned on after reboot, and no keys responding issue. Only the numbers on the letter u,i,o,j,k,l,m etc. is working. Annnnnnd I still have the first key not registering bug. This is ridicilous Apple!

Its funny how fast they acknowledge problems that can be thrown at a different manufacturer but themselves, at no certain cost or embarrasment.

How about acknowledging the thousands of people with 'first key typed not always showing' problem on expecially the brand new MacBook Pros?

Well to say that the statusbar in Disk Utility now works is a bit of an overstatement. I moves until about 10% and then its stuck until repairing permissions is done. Which by the way finds more than 10 strange archives that has been changed but will not be altered with disc utility.

Because if Apple can make it work in iWeb 1.0 and then brake it in 2.0 then I'm not sattisfied. None the less, after the latest Transmit 3.6.2 update they now upload files using UTF-8 on the file names as well, so now I can use æ ø and å again thanks to my FTP client :)

I guess the iWeb team has listened to costumers about the very cryptic URLs in iWeb 06, but the change they have made in iWeb 08, to compensate for that, is just to simplified. The URL of subpages made with iWeb 08 will now be called exactly the same as what you call that subpage - the name that also shows in your navigation menu. That is a very big problem, because I'm from Denmark I use the danish characters æ, ø and å in my webpage titles, and you can guess what happens when æ, ø or å is included in the URL. No Windows IE users can see that page. Ex. my daughters 1 year birthday is named '1 års fødselsdag' (1 year birthday) and when that show up in the URL as www.mypage.dk/1_års_fødselsdag.html no one except Safari users will be able to see that page. I then name the page something like '365 dage' (365 days) because then it will work and most people will know what that page is about, but it shouldn't have to to be like that. So please Apple, at least make iWeb 08 change URLs that contain less compatible characters that wont work in most peoples browsers. Otherwise I have to come up with really obscure titles for my subpages, because I can't just call them what I want to.

iMovie 08 is out of this world. So f...in intuitive and fast on my MBP. Love it! And as long as Apple lets you run iMovie HD as well please stop the whining. To bad the videofilters went away, but hopefully they will be back with Leopards CoreVideo. I'll bet we will see a free upgrade to iMovie once leopard is out.

It becomes more and more obvious how neglected the Mac users are. The iPhone has taken all Apples time and has made iTunes bloated with stuff that most people do not need. I'm thinking about all the iPhone stuff built in and other sync features not nescessary for what the iTunes app really is all about. This is the 5th update in a very short time. Not very Apple like to neglect their core costumers. Get back on track Apple! Lets see some SOLID software so that we won't have to update the same app so many times in a row.

Still slow as hell :( There are so many similar features which iPhoto does blazing fast compared to Aperture 1.5. Why does Aperture has to be so demanding to the computer??? I love the idea of Aperture, but iPhoto 6 is just so much better - and yes I know iPhoto is not a pro app.

iWeb 1.1 does NOT optimize site!!!

I duplicated my iWeb site folder which at the time was 15Mb in size.

I then updated iWeb to 1.1 and exported my site to a folder without making any changes to my site. I had heard somewhere that I would see a dialogbox asking if I want to update my site for the new improved loading times in iWeb 1.1. Didn't see any of that.

Well I then looked at the newly exported folder and compared it with the old one. The old, as stated above, is 15Mb in size - the new "optimized" one is 16.3Mb

How come? Is it once again only .Mac users that will see the full benifit of this update?

Seems to work just fine, and the nagging warning about people not being able to access my base because of wireless configuration is now gone.
