I suspect that's it, opaldrake. I've notice that when I do a safe boot (w/shift key down) to prevent third-party add-ons from loading, my eDrive does appear and remain on the desktop, so the TTP daemon may well be what unmounts it (after normal startups).

Since changing anything on the eDrive is risky - and doing so would be possible while it's mounted - the daemon is most likely just a "safety feature." I doubt it does any sneaky stuff like "phoning home" but I've yet to install Little Snitch here... after I do so (in a day or three), if I notice TTP trying to establish any connections, I'll post back to let y'all know.

No, the issue isn't unique to your G4, IKE1999...

There's definitely some major bloat/leak happening somewhere as the Scrabble app runs. I monitor CPU usage (in the top menu bar) constantly, using MenuMeters, and by the middle of the fourth or fifth consecutive Scrabble game, my 1 GHz G4 hits 100% and the game lags severely, requiring a quit and relaunch to clear [whatever-it-is] out of the way.

None of my other apps behave this way, and it's 100% repeatable, even when only the Finder and Scrabble are running.

I *love* the game! But this certainly needs to be fixed.

Absofreakinlutely fandamntastic, thank-you!

I give it only four stars for ease of use (at this point) simply because, IMO, instructions for use should be included in a read-me file for reference, rather than users having to rely on tool tips. Functionally, it's performed perfectly here.

*ROTFL* mu5ti, too true! Turly ROCKS. He's been a MacHead hero for ages. (-:

Here's a sample of what FinderPop can do, jameskitty...

...with a simple, single click in the menu bar - no modifier keys required and it's "sticky" too! - I have instant access to ALL my stuff. (Just toss aliases to whatever you want into the "FinderPop Items" folder.)

Extremely Cool.
