SYED ALI  Just installed the program on Snow Leopard and to my surprise, it's working so much better. Only uses around 2.9% CPU on my 1.66 Ghz Core Duo Mac mini.

The program doesn't crash and runs well. I wonder how long I can keep using it though since the PPC platform has been phased out.

SYED ALI  I have used skype on 3 different machines running leopard and snow leopard. Used 2 different logitech cameras and the built in camera on Macbook, and people consistently tell me that the pic quality is inferior from the Mac client when compared to calls using the same hardware but running Windows and using the windows Skype client.

Has anyone else experienced this as well ?

However I noticed I was getting emails on local mail account daily. Come to find out it left the following entry in the crontab.

1) Ability to add username / password to the downloads. When I try to download a file from a password protected http site, it doesn't work. GetRight on windows has this password ability.

SYED ALI  Skype Beta 2.7.0.195 stopped working after I used TRIMMIT. I tried it on an intel Macmini Core Duo and a MacBook Core 2 Duo. On both the computers, the program tries to start and then nothing happened. I reinstalled the Application on the MacBook and it started working again. Seems like Trimmit deletes an important file. Not sure which one.

SYED ALI  Excellent application for removing excess files and recovering valuable HD space.

Works very well with all the applications. I used it to trim Google Earth from 94.7 MB to 49.5 MB. Cyberduck was trimmed from 22MB to 6.6MB. Some people have suggested that their apps seem to open faster, and I agree with it.

I would like the ability to trim multiple apps at the same time. Right now it only allows one application at a time.

SYED ALI  This software has a known issue. Here it is from CISCO's webpage. Why they won't fix the problem... is beyond me.

Problem: VPN Client on the MAC OS is not able to connect to the VPN 3000 Series Concentrator, and the user receives this message:

reason = PEER_DELETE-IKE_DELETE_FIREWALL_MISMATCH

Cause: This message indicates that the required software firewall is not running on the client PC. You can specify that a software firewall must run on the VPN Client PC in the VPN Concentrator Group Settings. However, only the Windows version of the VPN Client supports this firewall function. All other versions (Mac/Linux/Solaris) of the Cisco VPN Client do not support this firewall function.

Resolution: In order to resolve this issue, verify the firewall settings. Uncheck the Firewall Required option on the Group Settings in the VPN 3000 Concentrator, and try again to connect.

SYED ALI  Nice program. However, it has NOT been developed in a long time. The last release from Aug 200 was a PPC binary. There is still no Universal Binary available. Also it crashes excessively on some systems. I'm having issues on Leopard. Wish the developers would either make it open source so others can help move the development forward or do something with it. They do keep updating the windows version, but not the Mac version.
