SWORDMAN Wow, still no Snow Leopard compatibility. I'm gonna have to find some other app, and re-catalog 900+dvd's I have. It's been too many weeks without being able to access my database. I should have been smarter and memorized all of my dvd's and which slip in the case I have them stored in. I'm an idiot to trust a freeware program. Oh well, it *was* a good program.

FENNELSOFTWARE Swordman, one just can't migrate a 5-year piece of work to a brand new architecture in 2 to 3 weeks, I'm sorry… That doesn't mean it won't happen, that doesn't mean I'm not into it… It just means I'm human, and quality-focused, as you've seemed to agree 2 weeks ago ;) ! Joke aside, from now on, I'll try to post news re my progress on this "project" on my blog. Cheers. -- Fred, hoping to see you there... or wishing you to find a nice alternative otherwise :( ! SWORDMAN Snow Leopard compatibility soon? I hope so. It would be nice to get into my database again! Otherwise, this thing is GREAT. (Version 1.8 (65))

FENNELSOFTWARE Hi Swordman, and thanks for the kind words. Alas, I don't have great news for you *yet* re DVDManager's compatibility with Snow Leopard :( ! Be assured I'm working on it as we speak though, sadly, it…takes…time… Cheers. — Fred (Version 1.8.1)

SWORDMAN SJK, you were right. I actually found it just now before coming back here. Thanks anyways! All is right with the world now. Except the swath of destruction Bush left behind. That's gonna take awhile. Safari/Safaristand works great now though! (Version 4.0L166)

SWORDMAN Does anyone know where SafariStand's preferences are kept? I need to delete it's preference file. I've looked in Library/Preferences, but found nothing with the word "stand" or "safaristand" in it. Thanks for any help! (Version 4.0L166)

LEOPOLDBLOOM I haven't used SafariStand in a while, but I think it leaves some stuff in ~/Library/Safari. You could also use the Finder to search your entire hard drive for files and folders containing "stand." (Version 4.0L166)

SJK ~/Library/Preferences/jp.hetima.SafariStand.plist (file) and ~/Library/Safari/Stand (folder). (Version 4.0L166)

SWORDMAN Not a bad start, although Nintendo legal may hassle you. My only complaint is that the two times I've played this, it's locked my computer up solid! Not since OS 9 have I found a program that could so completely freeze a system up! How'd you manage that in OS X? I had to hard reboot both times, and never finished the first level. I'll admit it was kind of fun for the brief time it worked! Keep up the work, you're onto something here. . . --Swordman (Version svn1134-2)

SWORDMAN Or instead of Oil of Olay ads, I can see Outback Steakhouse ads repeatedly when trying to view Yahoo vids. Is google (youtube) the only company that is doing this right? This media player (I agree) is a horrible mess. Adobe laid an egg. A cracked egg. With yoke running everywhere. I guess that means the yokes on us! Tee hee, I made a funny. (Version 1.0)

SWORDMAN This game is a little in the vein of Age of Empires, or Myth. You know what? NICE! I was actually pretty impressed with the quality for a freeware game! I'd even go as far to say that it's of higher quality than alot of $harware games. Really! Just to help others out: be sure to download both parts to play the game--the application itself, and the data. They are separate downloads (as I write this). To the developers: Great work! Thanks!

SWORDMAN Any idea how to get this to install for Navigator 9 or Camino? It seems to only install for Safari (my main browser), and Firefox, but not for the others. (Version 9.0.98)

M85 Make sure you quit all browsers before installing. Oddly, it installed 9.097 but I did get a confirmation page when I launched Camino (1.6 pre). Last install I did prior was with 1.5.2 and no hitches installing that either. (Version 9.0.98)

Adobe Flash Player | Nov 1 2007 |
MINIK I don't have problem getting Camino 1.5.x to recognize the new plug-in as well. Closing all web browsers before installing the Flash plug-in is a good habit. =) Hopefully 9.0r98 is good, since the last 2 were buggy. (Version 9.0.98)

BTRSTUDIO This plugin is installed in the Internet Plugins folder found in the System Library folder, and should automatically load when starting up Camino, and I would think Netscape as well. As was previously posted, do quit all browsers first of course. http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/OSX.html (Version 9.0.98)
