I'm the developer of Storyist and I'm delighted that you basically like the software. But a little puzzled.

In Storyist, the only trial reminder is the dialog that appears when you launch the app telling you how many days you have remaining in your trial. There are NO nag dialogs that appear after that while you're writing. Perhaps you are seeing an auto-update dialog (which you'll see if you choose to have Storyist automatically check for updates and an update is available) and are dismissing it by clicking "Remind Me Later"?
