STARMANTA This is a very slick app! As another reviewer said, everything about it screams "polished". I have only one issue with it, and that is the (apparent) inability to set different rates for different tasks within the same project. For example, one might invoice $25/hour for coding but only $12.50/hr for reading the related material. This is a minor gripe, though, and probably one that most people will never notice. STARMANTA Use with caution. I started recording a demo of a windowed game and DE beachballed my entire system for at least 5 minutes, when I gave up and did a hard reset. Probably should have recorded a lower resolution of video when running a memory-hungry game, but still caught me off guard. (Version 1.8)

STARMANTA This program is very slick, but I find it hard to imagine it being worth the price the developer is asking to anyone, short of companies. At £10, I'd buy it in a heartbeat; £30 is up there; £100, not a chance. As to the software, it generates very nice-looking, well-behaved, AJAX'd out, interactive pages. Searching is live and instant (albeit limited in the demo); AIM screen names and such pop open properly; there's even a listing of upcoming birthdays. My one suggestion software-wise would be to allow more customization; themes, possibly options to have addresses link to Google Maps or some such, that kind of thing. And lower that friggin price tag. (Version 2.0.4)

STARMANTA I saw a physical clock that did this on digg awhile ago and (like everyone else) my first thought was, "I want that as a screensaver!" A widget works too. Thanks! (Version 0.2)

STARMANTA I don't see how this got a good review from anyone. - It's S-L-O-W. To make matters worse, it acts like it's fast, so you think you clicked an item, and nothing happens, but you never get any indication the program is working. - Applescript errors when checking and unchecking items. - There is no way to select all items for backup. That's right, you have to check EACH AND EVERY application, system preference, and folder you want to include. And this brings me back to the slowness. It takes a second for each of these checkboxes to register. It would likely take me hours just to select everything I wanted to backup. - Interface feedback is poor. I click the plus button, nothing happens; I move on to see if the "set" button does anything, and a file dialog opens up. Go figure, it's actually the first button catching up to me! but of course this window gives no indication of what it's for, so I assume the latter... ugh. (Version 4.1.3)

DOCELROY Cmd-a doesn't work. It only highlights all interface text, but doesn't check/uncheck the buttons. Definetly a feature to be added. (Version 5.1)

STARMANTA May I ask what the point of this program is? Adium already syncs its contacts with the address book. (Version 1.1)

STARMANTA OK, now that the DMG mounts, here's my two cents: I can't seem to drag and drop links, graphics, etc, onto the sidenote panel. What gives? That would be about that only thing I would use a side-sliding drawer like this for.

STARMANTA OK, new information from my previous problem: apparently other DMG's do not, in fact, mount fine on my system. I'll try restarting or something. (Version 1.0)

STARMANTA I've tried 2 different downloads, bth of which have the same problem: the DMG errors with "no mountable file systems". Other dmg's mount fine on my system, and from the comments I don't see anyone else having this problem. Which strikes me as strange. OS 10.3.8, Mac mini (Version 1.0)

Why on earth wouldn't you use the built-in Date field for the date? (Version 2.3)
