STANLEY MARCHAL Always in search for a good converter it is fair to say I used a lot of converters (dare to say every). iQuint and ffmpex mostly suited to my needs but they both have some issues (quality wise and stability - especially ffmpex is unstable and not update to date regarding the GUI) iVideoconverter - a new kid on the block and oh-boy is this a winner or what ! ! ! The vast series of options you get to improve convert quality is just amazing and not seen in other programs I encountered. But still there are some missing features like 2 pass coding and muxing. I have only tapped the presets and they do seem to give very good to outstanding results. But it is comfortable to know you can still do some tweaking with the advanced features. Documentation for all the advanced functionalities is a must! ! ! This needs to be added ASAP by the dev In my opinion this will surpass the popularity and above all usability of ffmpex - the former leader of the pack. Top of the bill when you are needing a excellent converter for osX. (Version 1.0.1) |
